On December 11 Lionsgate brings three films from the Silent Night Deadly Night franchise - Silent Night Deadly Night 3: Better Watch Out, Silent Night Deadly Night 4: Initiation and Silent Night Deadly Night 5: The Toymaker - to DVD for the first time ever. Featured in one amaray DVD case with O-card packaging, the Silent Night Deadly Night Box Set is the perfect holiday gift for any horror fan!
Silent Night Deadly Night 3: Better Watch Out Synopsis: Ricky Caldwell, the notorious "Killer Santa Claus," awakens from a six year coma after being kept alive on life-support by a slightly crazed doctor experimenting with ESP and other special abilities. Ricky spies Laura, a young, clairvoyant blind woman who is traveling with her brother and his girlfriend to their grandmother's house for Christmas Eve. When Ricky decides to go after her, he leaves a trail of dead bodies in his wake.
Silent Night Deadly Night 4: Initiation Synopsis: A female reporter is investigating the death of a woman who, on fire, leapt off of a building to her death. The investigation leads her to discover the existence of a strange cult. The cult, dedicated to the Egyptian god Isis, now wants her as their new queen.
Silent Night Deadly Night 5: The Toymaker Synopsis: A young boy sees his father killed by a toy that was anonymously delivered to his house. After that, he is too traumatized to speak and his mother must deal with both him and the loss of her husband. Meanwhile, a toy maker named Joe Peto builds some suspicious-looking products while a mysterious man creeps around both the toy store and the boy's house...but who is responsible for the killer toys?
actually dec 1st but yeah will be getting this anyway the first film is long oop that has part 1 aND 2 and then the first film was rereleased in 2007 but that is also oop now
I already have the OOP double feature so now I can finish the set!! Even though the films aren't that good, think I just have a problem collecting dvds
I remember some really freaky effects in Initiation and would like to see it again. Think I'll wait for them to get cheap, though.
I got the disc with 1 and 2 on it for less than $10 four years ago, but I guess it's out of print now.
These sequels were terrible. It's okay if part 2 never resurfaces on DVD because it's mostly all flashbacks to the first film. The original is truly the only one worth enjoying. Why are they spending money releasing these when Curtains has yet to see a DVD release. I wish one of the big studios would acquire the rights to that one. I believe it could be Lionsgate because Curtains was released on VHS by Vestron and Lionsgate bought most of Vestron's library after they went out of business.
