The first was great, and the second didn't suck. Why not?

The first movie was ok, not great or anything, the second movie sucked (except one or two cool moments) and the "Rings" short was decent. But The Ring 3D will suck mark my words. The story is done, finished, with the first one. Every sequel just keeps getting more and more derivative.

Videotape is no longer relevant, how would they make it work since technology has moved onto digital media? Samara coming at me would be awesome.

I can totally picture the videotape in 3D, and the thought creeps me out even more than the regular 2D video! God, this is a brilliant idea. Of all the 3-D horror movie projects being worked on right now, this is one movie that actually SHOULD get it. But if Naomi Watts isn't in, than neither am I.

I can already imagine the ending in this one : She comes out of the theater screen to get us ! xD

3D is overrated...sure its cool in theaters but if you want to buy it on dvd it ruins the experience...everything looks pushed, you can tell what is 3D...this is a gimmick that is being revisited and will go away again i'm sure

The Ring is great and IMO better than that borefest RINGU. The Ring 2 is bad but I did enjoy every moment with Samara. I'm sick of 3D but I definitely want a part 3. Maybe a remake of RING 0?

Might be creepy if Samara crawls out of the screen at you.

the ring is fantastic. the ring two is awful. just leave it .. like others have said, videotapes are not relevant anymore.

The Death Tape is no longer going to be on casette for the third Film. some Chick copies it onto a DVD disk in the third movie. Hows that for modernizing the franchise.
