Ha! I bought this on DVD today. I haven't seen the original, but this flick was pretty good for a DTV remake. Bijou Phillips was really good, there was some good gore, some amusing moments and it looked good for a DTV flick. Some of the acting wasn't great though, it was pretty short and there were some stupid character decisions throughout. I rate it at a 6.5/10...worth a look, but a rental first.

Well there seems to be a lot more gore in this one but it will do, Of all the movies to remake why this one? Whats next Basket Case.

How did I get it? It's available on Region 2 DVD already (since Monday) =) It was actually quite cheap for a brand new release.

I love the original. It is the essence of horror cheese. I am looking forward to seeing an update that brings a bit of gore.

Actually doesn't look bad. I expected one of those lame PG-13 style remakes but, freaking a, this looks rad. Probably won't be better than the original, but I'm still stoked to see it.

I like the full length trailer better... I've been waiting for this one!!! I have the original 3 films... they're so cheesey, and this one looks to retain some of the cheeseyness. the last quote in the trailer, Is it dead frank, no, it's alive.... that doesn it for me.... I'm pumped...lol
