Liked the first one, hated the second, so is a third even necessary ? Well, I guess if your gonna make it anyway, you better make it good. I thought the first one was pretty grisley, and creepy as fuck, so more of that please. Don't over do it with the gore to the point of rediculousness like the recent SAW sequels have, but definately push the envelope as far as you can with the imagery, and realism (Like The "Exorcist" did back in the seventies). Just shock the hell out of me, I want to actually believe that this demon really skinned some person, then sewed them back together like a "quilt", no fake looking shit. Oh, and you might want to get some actors that can actually act, cause the one's who that were cast as the teens in the second one just didn't cut it. Just my two cents.

yeah, the 1st is a near perfect movie (IMO) but the 2nd is practically unwatchable due to EVERY character/protag in the movie is a total douche and very unlikeable. i'm thrilled for a 3rd movie with the awesome GINA PHILLIPS returning and starring. she's terrific!! i can't wait!

Awesome news guys. I been waiting to hear about this one. Unlike most, I really liked the second one-even though it doesn't touch the near-perfect original. The fear shown by the football team, and just the mythos of the Creeper made the movie for me. Is this gonna be theatrical or direct to disc?

I think the Creeper is under appreciated. He's the best NEW horror icon, and its a shame we are having such a hard time seeing a new movie. We can see movies like "Prom Night" , "When a Stranger Calls" and a bunch of other bullshit movies, yet both Jeepers Creepers movies made money hand over fist, and they are still waiting on financing ....... its just bullshit. I can't wait for 3.

Serriously? I HATED the first. I thought it was total shit. hought it tried way to hard to be brutal, creepy, violent, and scary and was NONE of those things. Pretty much a hack job. But I actually really dug the second. I thought it was considerably more memorable in the visuals department, and it was vastly more entertaining with regards to both visuals and entertainment. He just gave up on being edgy and had fun with the monster.

So they are bringing back the actress from the first one...how exactly is this going to work? Isn't "the creeper" only supposed to surface every 23 years or some shit? What, is this a futuristic film now? Hah hah, yea right. Obviously, if he's got his truck back, it not set back in the past like the old west as was once bandied about. They'll probably just cheat with the whole "every 23 years" thing, since Salva and crew basically wrote themselves into a corner as fas a sequels go, when they came up with that novel idea...

The Jeepers Creepers series is lame. These movies may be appealing if you are 14 but I think they are more or less, wack. They aren't scary, the 'creeper' guy isn't scary or very cool looking and the gore/violence factor isn't even that high. They should stop making them ASAP.

Love the Creeper. He was so scary in the first one and the concept was just amazing. Great, classic monster flick! The second one wasn't bad, and this third installment better go THEATRICAL!

The first one is decent enough to own, but what really bugs me about it are the TERRIBLE choices those kids make (over and over), beginning with the decision to go back and investigate the pipe. And they only get worse. It's nicely shot though, and it maintains a good, consistently creepy atmosphere throughout. The second one only has the scarecrow scene going for it. The rest is garbage. Part 3 will be a renter for me.

The question I always pose to those that call out Salva's molestation past is, do you ever watch any Roman Polanski films? I mean, the two of them pretty much did the same thing. Is it because Salva did it with a boy instead of girl, that everyone gets all crazy with the pitchforks and torches?

I have to agree, this movie was lame. Not scary whatsoever. Your age probably determines your feelings about the Creeper

I watched JC on IFC over a week ago. Man, I forgot how bad that movie was. Then the second one came on after, and I made it to the dream sequence and turned it off. What a pile of steaming elephant turd.
