Update: As quick as I posted this, they removed it. B-D reader 'Keith B.' just hit us up with the following link, which should get you all pretty damn excited. According to the official Paramount website, the highly anticipated haunted house film Paranormal Activity (read our new review) will be opening in theaters on September 25th. The reason this is so important is because you MUST see this in a cinema, not on DVD. Directed by Oren Peli, a young couple suspects that their house is haunted by a malevolent entity. They set up video surveillance to capture evidence of what happens at night as they sleep. Their surveillance and home videos have been edited into the 99 minute feature film "Paranormal Activity".
2 weeks seems pretty damn quick. I have not seen any t.v. promotion, how do they plan on marketing this ? If this movie REALLY is as scary and real as it's being said it is, then why did they not BLAIR WITCH the hell out of it and create a big buzz for 3 to 6 months and get people anxious ?
Shit. At an upcoming film fest, I can either see this film or REC 2 (because they screen at the exact same time- fucking lame!!). I guess I'll choose this one since it's a theatrical must-see.....choices, choices....
Blood-Sicles, DAMN!! that IS a hard choice. i'm dying to see both films. honestly i'd probably choose REC2 but i'd be pissed that i had to miss THIS movie! LOL.
