Ok so the original had maybe a few zombies in it, but this remake is making it look like plan 9 of the living dead. I don't mind a remake of a classic, but don't drastically change it.

This looks like garbage. How does people get funding to waste money like that. Even the film quality... video quality, looks boring.

That's definitely a pile of crap, but it's not nearly crappy enough to be a real tribute to Plan 9.

Looks better than I had expected! Kind of reminds me of "The Signal" but in a good way. Looks cool!

Oh FUCK these guys. The original is a classic and one of my favourite films. It looks SHIT. They could have at least used the idea of aliens bring the dead back to life and scrap the name and change evrything else. At least diguise the fact that it's a fucking remake. SHIT.

The original is a cult classic because its 'so bad that's its good.' Which means that is was by pure accident that it became a success. So what is this remake going for? How do you plan that kind of accidental success again? What complete idiot studio exec gave the OK to do this remake? Will this remake completely fucking suck in a bad way, or in a good way.......

This trailer sucks. No one can possibly remake the pure unadulterated genuis that was Ed Wood. A man who truely loved film. Besides how can you recast Vampiria, Bela Lugosi, Tor Johnson, Crisswell and Kelso the cop? RIP all of you guys.

Why are there always so many haters posting. If you wanna hate on something, how about that piece of shit Zombie called "Halloween 2." Ruined my night. (loved the first one) This, on the other hand, looks pretty cool. I love that there are tons of zombies, its a remake. For the love of god make it different! If it was the same, what's the point? And i think the whole 'for Ed' thing means they're making the film Ed Wood tried to make. Bigger budget, better talent. and its not out yet, so we don't know if it will be intended to be cheesy, or serious, or what, but its not a bad trailer, and could be good. As long as there aren't any fuckin white horses...

Im down for this the original is still there to watch. I had always thought Phantasm was a remake/reimaging of Plan 9.

Looks like a well shot film to me. I must admit that I've never seen the original Plan 9 in its entirety, but this film seems to have utilized its budget to bring to life perhaps a bigger picture of what the original alluded to.

Trashy, just like the original... and I LUV it!!! Can't wait!!! When those zombies crashed through the car windows at that girl, I almost screamed. This is awesome! I'm glad they didn't try to make it into some glamoured up production because that is NOT what makes the original memorable. Ed Wood's films were cheesy and that is why the films were lovable. It seems amped up just right. I don't give an F what anyone else thinks, just sayin'...

I'm very excited for this!The sillier the better.I laugh everytime I watch the original for it's unintentional humor.These are the kind of movies that should be remade.I know it won't be as fun or original as Ed Woods but it still be a refreshing take on a cult classic.
