We've got another edition of Bloody Disgusting News Bites for ya', this time we've got details on Suck being sold to a Canadian distributor, Ti West's The house of the Devil Los Angeles premiere at the Screamfest Horror FIlm Festival, international one sheets for Pandorum and The Box, along with the first stills and one sheet for Transylmania (hitting theaters in December). Read on for all of the goods and watch for more updates as they come in.

DANIELLE HARRIS IN STAKE LAND

Below you'll find two behind-the-scenes videos of Danielle Harris on the set of Jim Mickle's (Mulberry Street) Stake Land

The film, written by Jim Mickle and Nick Damici and directed by Jim Mickle ("Mulberry Street"), takes place following a global spread of vampirism. McGillis plays a nun who joins a small team of survivors (including Damici, Danielle Harris of "Halloween" and "Halloween 2" and Conor Paolo of "Gossip Girl") as they make a treacherous journey north to safety through the war-torn U.S. McGillis' character, "Sister," faces a crisis of faith during the vampire bloodshed, ultimately taking up arms to do battle with her newly formed family unit.

TRANSYLMANIA WEBSITE, STILLS AND MORE

Today we got our hands on the first four images from Transylmania (watch the trailer), which arrives in theaters December 4th. In addition, the official website has now been launched and features all sorts of goodies.

The horror comedy takes place deep in the heart of the "cursed land" of Transylvania in a centuries-old castle, Razvan University isn't your typical institution of higher learning -- and the black leather-clad professors, three-foot-tall dean, instruction in crucifix-wielding, and topless vampiresses lurking in dark corners are just the start.

SALES DON'T QUITE SUCK

Canadian indie distributor Alliance Films has picked up Rob Stefaniuk's vampire movie Suck ahead of its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on Friday. Alliance Films picked up all Canadian rights to the rock 'n' roll adventure movie from sales agent Capri Vision.

Stefaniuk's feature, produced by Robin Crumley, stars Jessica Pare, Dave Foley and Malcolm McDowell and features cameos by Alice Cooper and his daughter Calico, Iggy Pop, Henry Rollins, Moby, Alex Lifeson, Carole Pope and Dimitri Coats.

The Toronto International Film Festival gets under way Thursday.

Suck is a rock'n'roll vampire comedy about a group of musical wannabees in search of immortality and a record deal. The rock band The Winners have sunk so low, they will do anything to make it big. After a life-changing encounter with a vampire, they rocket to stardom only to discover that fame and fortune are not all they’re cracked up to be.

HOUSE OF THE DEVIL PREMIERES AT SCREAMFEST LA!

Rachel Belofsky, founder of the annual Screamfest Horror Film Festival, is pleased to announce that Ti West’s film The House of the Devil, from Magnet Releasing, will be this year’s centerpiece film at Screamfest in the prestigious Grauman’s Theatre on October 21st. THE HOUSE OF THE DEVIL was written, directed and edited by Ti West and produced by Josh Braun, Roger Kass, Larry Fessenden, and Peter Phok. The 9th annual festival will be held October 16th-25th at the Mann Chinese Theaters in Hollywood, California. Click here for more details.

THE HOUSE OF THE DEVIL is a satanic thriller set in the 1980s starring Jocelin Donahue (JT Petty’s forthcoming THE BURROWERS), indie ingénue Greta Gerwig (HANNAH TAKES THE STAIRS, BAGHEAD), Tom Noonan (SNOW ANGELS, MANHUNTER), Mary Woronov (EATING RAOUL, THE DEVIL’S REJECTS), AJ Bowen (THE SIGNAL) and Dee Wallace (E.T., Rob Zombie’s HALLOWEEN).

Sam (Donahue) is a pretty college sophomore, so desperate to earn some cash for a deposit on an apartment that she accepts a babysitting job even after she finds out there is no baby. Mr. and Mrs. Ulman (cult actors Noonan and Woronov) are the older couple who lure Sam out to their creeky Victorian mansion deep in the woods, just in time for a total lunar eclipse. Megan (Gerwig) is Sam’s best friend, who gives her a ride out to the house, and reluctantly leaves her there despite suspecting that something is amiss. Victor (Bowen) at first seems like just a creepy guy lurking around the house, but quickly makes it clear that Sam will end this night in a bloody fight for her life....

Matt Cowal, VP of Publicity and Marketing for Magnolia/Magnet said, “Screamfest is the perfect place for a smart horror film like THE HOUSE OF THE DEVIL. It was a great launching pad for our film SPLINTER which we released at the same time last year, and we’re thrilled to be back.

BRAZILLIAN PANDORUM ONE SHEET

Below you'll find the Brazilian one sheet for the Paul. W.S. Anderosn produced Pandorum, which come courtesy of IMP Awards.

Arriving in theaters September 25, a young crew member awakes from his hyper sleep chamber to discover he's alone on a massive spaceship. He ventures towards the bridge in search of others and to try and figure out what happened.

FRENCH THE BOX ONE SHEET

Below you'll also find another international poster, this time a French one sheet for Richard Kelly's sci-fi horror film The Box, which arrives in theaters November 6.

In Warner Bros. adaptation of the story "Button, Button" by Richard Matheson, a simple wooden box promises to deliver its owner $1 million with the press of a button. However, pressing this button will simultaneously cause the death of another human being somewhere in the world.

The one sheet come courtesy of IMP Awards.

MORE NEW MOON "STUFF"

A bunch of random stuff revolving around Summit Entertainment's New Moon, the second adaptation of Stephenie Meyer's Twilight series.

First, MTV broke the news that the premiere will take place on Monday, November 16th, at L.A.'s Village and Bruin theaters, which was the same locale for the premiere of Twilight.

Second, if you click here you'll find an odd image of a 24-acre Team Edward/Team Jacob cornfield maze that will be part of this year's Black Island Farms in Syracuse, Utah. Yes, this creeps me out just a little bit. But not as much as this: "If you're really good, you can get through the main maze in about an hour. Wrong turns will keep you pounding the paths for a while longer! Smiling 'Corn Cops' are sprinkled throughout the mazes to help you, if you ask." Gross.

Lastly, click the image below for some new stills over at MTV UK.

All the international Pandorum posters suck, where as a few of the US posters for it were fantastic, such as the one with the chords going through the person's eyes/mouth. Creepy!

Only really interested in House of the Devil & Pandorum. BD reports on horror related news for all groups, the site is not just for you...Twilight is awful kiddie crap, that's why I simply skip that news. "Yo"...really, people still say "yo"?

The Pandorum poster is not gay. Dennis Quaid and Ben Foster would have to be kissing to make it gay. Pandorum poster is straight, which also means "lame."
