Its funny caues I was over at the Sideshow collectible forums and someone started a thread on this topic, which I also mentioned that B-D hadnt reported anything on this nor even the beinning filming of the sequal so it had to be BS.

A sequel may not have been greenlit (yet), but I heard the same guys who wrote the remake have been commissioned to do a script for the next one.

I would love nothing more than the real Jason (Kane Hodder) to get the call to come back and make Jason scary and serious again. Enough with these oafs who think Jason Voorhees is supposed to be a modern Frankenstein. Hodder made a character who was a mute speak volumes with his body movements. Kane Hodder is Jason as far as i'm concerned. George P. Wilbur is the true Michael Myers, Robert England is Freddy and Doug Bradley is Pinhead. End of story.

Well in all honesty you cant blame people for believing the story, afterall with the nonsense decisions that come from hollywood and especially from crappy filmakers/producers, they pretty much already have people believing they will do any dumb shit these days for a buck

Seriously, would it even matter if Sylvia was to be the new Jason? Just another big guy in a mask, not saying any words, killing dumb shit 30 year-olds pretending to be teens. It's not like the role is difficult and I doubt most of you would even notice if it was a different Jason. Hodder was the only one who really brought anything of worth to the actual role.
