to:jpd44... it's still an original story! It has yet to come to a conclusion, so it's still the same story; just evolving & developing. So yes, it's still one of the only original ideas out there, in this sea of neverending CRAPPY remakes!!!

Very cool, very cool,. Kind of Hannibal Lecterish looking. Hehe well anyway this is going to be badass and all of the haters will once again be pwned. SAW V may not have been up to par but I BELIEVE IN GREUTERT!!!!!!!! Every film series has one supposedly bad seed in the franchise and SAW V wasn't a terrible movie anyway so if that was as bad as it gets I say overalll SAW is the best horror franchise as far as consistency of standards go. Even all of the ANOES, F13, and Halloween fans need to admit for a fifth installment in a franchise SAW was the best and I know we are in for something special. All I ask is that on October 23rd just go in with an open mind and prepare to be surprised.

i agree w/ TwistedFate_L4 that (and i hate to say this..supporting this franchise) i will probably see this ONLY because of SQ winner TANEDRA and for mainly SHAWNEE SMITH!!

oh and SAW V is one of THE worst movies i've ever watched (thankfully for free). anyone who says it's not.... it's as bad (if not worse) than TD4.

Eh I stopped caring about the time part 3 ended. 4, 5 and onward arent about jigsaw or even his vision, its just about giving highschool kids a reason to see people die in traps. Friday the 13th had more personality than these movies and all they were was just one guy killing kids.

These movies stopped being entertaining after 3. Just let the damn series die already. I did like X-Japan's work with IV though.
