It is coming out soon. I was recently offered passes in Burbank to see a special screening of it at Paramount in which they were going to film audience reactions while watching the movie, and then that footage would be shown in the TV commercials.

Paramount, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE give this a wide release! PLEASE!

So I guess they added the lame alternate ending instead...damn. For those who have seen the film and want to know what you're missing, here is a description of the original and much more horrific ending: http://daveguzman.blogspot.com/2009/08/endings-of-paranorma l-activity.html More importantly, there needs to be a campaign by film bloggers to KEEP THE ORIGINAL ENDING. If movie sites could convince the big studios not to reshoot Spike Jonze's Where the Wild Things Are it can definitely work on a smaller independent film. You guys should be angry - the final scene is the one time the movie gets lame hollywood horror. The original ending is far more violent and confronting and is the perfect finish to the film.

Wow. Possibly the "scariest movie ever made" ? Them big shoes to fill, but I am extremely interested in seeing this. I am not a big fan of ghosts/supernatural stuff, but this really sound good with all the positive reviews and feedback. Just need a release date.

I SAW THIS MOVIE TWICE!!..ONCE IN OCT 07, AT THE GRAUMAS'S CHINESE THEATER, AND COUPLE OF MONTHS LATER AT A PRIVATE SCREENING IN CENTURY CITY..BOTH WERE THE ORGINAL FILM, AND I HAVE TO SAY THIS IS PROBABLY THE SCARIEST MOVIE IVE SEEN!!IM 24YRS OLD AND IT SCARED THE CRAP OUT OF ME, AND WILL PROBABLY HAPPEN AGAIN IF I SAW THE ORIGNAL. IT TRUELY LEFT ME SCARED, I CLAIM CLOSE TO THINKIN IT WAS REAL, I COULDNT SLEEP FOR A COUPLE OF WEEKS! LOL.. Thank the Gods for an original movie idea anywhere near Hollywood, but there is simply no way in hell that this movie can be as good as the hype machine is making it out to be. I smell another Blair Witch, but like any train wreck, I can't wait to see it.
