I hate fads, but I'd be happy if the motion poster trend never dies - I love 'em. Today Overture Films released a motion one sheet for Christian Alvart's Pandorum, which features someone clawing away something on their skin. Dig on it below and check out the sci-fi horror film in theaters September 25. Starring Dennis Quaid, Ben Foster, Wotan Wilke Möhring, André M. Hennicke, Antje Traue, Cam Gigandet, Norman Reedus and Asia Luna Mohmand, a young crew member awakes from his hyper sleep chamber to discover he's alone on a massive spaceship. He ventures towards the bridge in search of others and to try and figure out what happened.
Sick. That shouldn't even be considered a motion poster. It's a clip. And without knowing the story or seeing what's happened in the movie up to that point, the clawing just seems...lame.
Kind of irritating to watch, but i have high hopes for the movie.
