I have a bone to pick with the final destination franchise. I was a big fan of the first one. It set the precedent for the rest to follow and was really well done and had a great cast. What I liked about the sequel was that it actually followed up on the first one and felt like a real sequel instead of just in name only. I get the fact that Sawa was written out becuase of how much money he wanted to return but Ali still came back to reprise her roll and I liked the fact that Tony Todd was potrayed as Bludworth the mortician, the physical potrayel of death. He is good in everything that he's in and his roll as their stalkers was no different. I also liked the fact that they gave death some sort of physical appearance in the form of a black cloud looming over the scene of doom. I was hoping that they would keep evolving the story with bludworth as death and relate each new incident to it's predececcors but instead from 3 on, it has merely just become a sequel in name only choosing to drop the bludworth character and not explain that anymore and is pretty much just turned into a disastor flick now. I miss the story the first 2 actually were trying to tell.
