'Carriers' Being Dumped in a Few Random Cities

Beyond the break you'll find the cities for the small theatrical run of Paramount Vantage's Carriers, which opens on September 4th. Four kids are driving through the desert on the way to the beach, their faces anything but cheery: this isn’t Spring Break. They’re trying to outrun the end of the world – and each other. In Álex and David Pastor’s Carriers, no one is safe from the viral pandemic threatening to wipe out the human race. Determined to elude the deadly virus, Danny, his brother Brian, his girlfriend Bobby and Danny’s school friend Kate speed across the Southwestern U.S. to reach a place of possible safety. Over the course of four days, the group is faced with moral decisions that no human should ever be forced to face. They discover that their greatest enemy is not the microbe attacking humanity, but the darkness within themselves.

I love zombie films, but don't think I ever saw one in a theatre... I was looking forward to this being my first zombie theatre experience, but nevermind =(

Good news guys! Saw 6 is playing wide! Yay for overplayed story lines! In case you can't read internet sarcasm, that was internet sarcasm. Why are all the good, original movies being dumped? I'd say just send it to DVD, but we all saw what happened to Trick 'r Treat.

Are we sure this is being "dumped" in a few theaters, or is it having a limited release before going broad? I find it hard to believe they would just "dump" a movie which co-stars Chris Pine, hot off the heels of his Star Trek success.

So another horror movie gets a limited release. Why? Why when it's been proven year after year horror movies can draw (not all) at the box office. Why does every shitty romantic comedy (some are okay) with a bad script still get released world wide. Or a terrible horror movie like the Prom Night remake. Guess if a movie is horror & not a sequel or remake you wont get a wide release. Surprised Zombie Land didn't get the same BS deal.
