In this campy chiller, a college couple, in 1959, see an object plummet to Earth like a meteor. The boy accidentally swallows a space-slug that shoots out. In 1986, two freshmen roam the campus and stumble across the corpse of the boy who swallowed the space-slug. Once thawed out, the corpse comes to life.
At least they went with the best of the worst cover art that was up for vote on Amazon. This really is a great movie though that was long overdue for the 'ol digital video disc treatment.
yes, finally. I thought it was coming out the 6th. damn. Horrible cover art for both. They should just use the original artwork that everyone one will recognize.
BluRay artwork is better, thank God.. Still looks a bit misleading. An old horror film with 90's slasher box art.. Anyways, I'll be sure to grab a copy if the BluRay transfer is good.
Fantastic film. REALLY horrible covers. I think I may just use the bootleg dvd cover that I have had for years. Theinfected182 you are right about covers. They should realize that the covers also adds to the appeal of the overall movie experience. If you never seen the film and see a really sh*tty cover you most likely will pass it up for a cooler cover of another film.
Thank God! I've been waiting years for this movie. I used to have it and Return of the Living Dead on VHS but I wore out the tape. Love this flick! And ya, the cover art looks like something from my toilet.
