Well it's been a while since we saw a Horror version of Red Reding Hood, save for the upcoming 'Trick r' Treat' with Anna Paquin in a Red Riding Hoodesque role, which looks good. But so far nothing has matched the surrealness of Neil Jordon's 'The Company of Wolves', so I hope the producers of this new film have aimed their bar higher than that film, or it won't even be worth making in my opinion. That film is pure werewolf bliss.

Company of wolves is still one of the best wolf film's ever,and i still think it hold's up pretty well after all this time. Hardwicke has a long way to go to make her move as good as Jordon's.

The Brother's Grimm version is already kinda dark. Why not just adapt that? And I teen love triangle? No thanks. This doesn't sound like horror to me.

No doubt it will be a sappy retread of "The Company of Wolves", which, by the way, is one of the best horror films ever made!

Was all in until I read "teen love triangle". I'll pass. The old tale has a lot of potential to do something good, but I smell suck fest on this 1.

teen love triangle? i like how to add something to the new adaptation, they throw teenage love triangle, like right out of the blue. i now kinda wanna read the other versions. i guess i will watch this with my girl friend cuz she will definetly want this. sigh
