Seriously, dude? You didn't get what I was saying? You saw the trees but not the forest? Okay, so I'll spell it out for you. You said the SAW films suck for anyone not 13 or under; in other words, any intelligent, mature adult would have difficulty enjoying them. I cited my age and personal accomplishments not as some sort of defense of my taste in films, but simply as evidence that I am an adult with a fair amount of world experience and maturity, not a 13-year-old kid. That's all. The correlation shouldn't be hard for anyone who read the comment to grasp - especially not someone who has been paid professionally as a writer. As for the BUFFY crack, that's simple, too. BUFFY is teen-oriented comic book horror/romance, and it's rather hypocritical for someone who lists that on their profile as a TV show they really enjoy (not "watched one time", as your comments here imply) to take shots at other people's maturity for their own entertainment choices. Now that ought to clear it up for you, but I can elaborate further if you're still confused. (For the record, I too have been paid for my writing, so a hearty congrats to you on that accomplishment!). Above all, I find it fascinating that you somehow took offense at my comments, which were far less derogatory toward others than yours were. And Gloorb, zaj didn't ask if anyone was rooting for more SAW sequels; he asked if anyone still gives a "flying phuck" about SAW (while, like my good friend crow454, clumsily accusing anyone who does of being a pubescent poser). Since the only tangible evidence which can be presented to answer his query is the commercial success of the most recent film in the series, I stated that the answer is "yes". Obviously if $100 mil worth of tickets to an age-restricted movie were sold last October, plenty of people around the world still care about that franchise. Finally, talking of weird correlations... please explain in some fashion that makes any sort of sense just what the connection between SAW and TWILIGHT is, beyond your personal distaste for the two properties. Are you guys just likening the two completely disparate and unrelated properties simply because you hate them both, or does unrestricted emo teen horror/romance really have something in common with an R-rated series about psychotic killers who snare corrupt people in painful, lethal traps and give them one chance to escape. The two have absolutely no relation or similarities whatsoever, in content, themes, or target audiences. Accusing anyone who likes something you dislike of being a "pimple-faced TWILIGHT fan" is as lazy as it is ludicrous... especially in the case of a series like SAW, which couldn't be more different from TWILIGHT if it tried.
