While most of you already saw the bootlegged trailer for The Twilight Saga: New Moon over the weekend, now we've got a new taste of the franchise with a special featurette entitled "Meet Jacob Black". Beyond the break you can see new footage ffrom the sequel arriving in theaters November 20, along with some interview bits with star Taylor Lautner.

In the second installment of Stephenie Meyer’s phenomenally successful TWILIGHT series, the romance between mortal and vampire soars to a new level as BELLA SWAN (Kristen Stewart) delves deeper into the mysteries of the supernatural world she yearns to become part of—only to find herself in greater peril than ever before.

Following Bella’s ill-fated 18th birthday party, EDWARD CULLEN (Robert Pattinson) and his family abandon the town of Forks, Washington, in an effort to protect her from the dangers inherent in their world. As the heartbroken Bella sleepwalks through her senior year of high school, numb and alone, she discovers Edward’s image comes to her whenever she puts herself in jeopardy. Her desire to be with him at any cost leads her to take greater and greater risks.

With the help of her childhood friend JACOB BLACK (Taylor Lautner), Bella refurbishes an old motorbike to carry her on her adventures. Bella’s frozen heart is gradually thawed by her budding relationship with Jacob, a member of the mysterious Quileute tribe, who has a supernatural secret of his own.

When a chance encounter brings Bella face to face with a former nemesis, only the intervention of a pack of supernaturally large wolves saves her from a grisly fate, and the encounter makes it frighteningly clear that Bella is still in grave danger. In a race against the clock, Bella learns the secret of the Quileutes and Edward’s true motivation for leaving her. She also faces the prospect of a potentially deadly reunion with her beloved that is a far cry from the one she’d hoped for. With more of the passion, action and suspense that made TWILIGHT a worldwide phenomenon, THE TWILIGHT SAGA: NEW MOON is a spellbinding follow-up to the box office hit.

U.S. release via Summit Entertainment, November 20, 2009.

Whats a bigger waste of time: Someone taking a stand for something they believe in, or trying to stop people from complaining about something they dislike? HMMMMMMMMM

...JasonVorhees91, stop trolling around whenever there's Twilight news...We 'get' that you cant stand the shit and how you're crying over it and the fact that you're mad at Mr.D ;p...Look I don't like Twilight either, but reading your repetive messages makes me realise how immature and young you are. Repeating yourself on how much you hate Twilight wont change anybodies mind. Anyways, on another note, the only real problem i have with this is Jacob and the Wherewolf pact...I mean seriously? You got a bunch of guys walking out all cut withought their shirt on looking like they're about to walk down a runway.lol cringe worthy indeed

fyi guys those dudes pretty much get their scoops from this web site...no real exclusive content there...if you want the best in todays horror...it's here. and im pretty sure that UCHM has twilight in their database...i love it! so what if twilight is mostly embraced by tweens...at its core its vampires and werewolves....and correct me if im wrong, but those are 2 integral aspects of horror...right?

What's with all the hate towards MrDisgusting, some people are in dying need of a life. F.Y.I Twilight is a major success and it will continue to be with or with out your approval. Aim that hate towards those making remakes that what's really messing up the horror genre.

Hey, I want more NewMoon news. after all I need something to cringe and laugh at hehe, keep bringing it MR.D ;p But at least one thing's for sure, it will probably better than Twilight. But after seeing those run way model Wherewolves and Jacobs cringe worthy performance(at times) I dont exactly know, should be fun lol

SpikeGhost

@runbitch as soon as all the movies are made everyone is going to forget about twilight and just move on to the next big thing advertised by Hollywood. And i agree that it has no place here because this is a romance flick with no trace of horror in it, it isn't a Thriller or science fiction. That's why it shouldn't be here.

How is Mr. D the biggest sell out in horror history? I've come to this site daily for over 2 years and I am very happy he has several posts pertaining to any kind of horror. Get over it already.

Sorry Spikeghost, but you really shouldn't comment on things you obviously have no idea about. Though not really a "horror movie" by any means, Twilight does indeed have horror elements as there ARE vampires in the story who DO violently kill and feed on humans. If someone doesn't like these books/movies, that's fine...but at least know what you're talking about before spouting off and sounding like a douche.

@Spikeghost Ummm... Do not see how popular the Twilight books are? My classmates are all still swooning over them... And they are all still talking about Twilight the movie.. One made a quiz O_o but anyway it will remain in houng people's hearts for years to come.. And JasonVorhees91.. This means you aren't coming back here? If so thank you apk420 for getting rid of him =)
