FULL SYNOPSIS

~ Rest In Pieces ~

On what should have been a fun-filled day at the races, Nick O’Bannon (Bobby Campo) has a horrific premonition in which a bizarre sequence of events causes multiple race cars to crash, sending flaming debris into the stands, brutally killing his friends and causing the upper deck of the stands to collapse on him. When he comes out of this grisly nightmare, Nick panics, persuading his girlfriend, Lori (Shantel VanSanten), and their friends, Janet (Haley Webb) and Hunt (Nick Zano), to leave…escaping seconds before Nick’s frightening vision becomes a terrible reality.

Thinking they’ve cheated death, the group has a new lease on life, but unfortunately for Nick and Lori, it is only the beginning. As his premonitions continue and the crash survivors begin to die one-by-one—in increasingly gruesome ways—Nick must figure out how to cheat death once and for all before he, too, reaches his final destination.

The film marks the latest in the highly popular “Final Destination” series, and its first 3D installment, giving horror fans an especially visceral thrill ride.

“The Final Destination” is directed by David R. Ellis (“Snakes on a Plane,” “Final Destination 2”) from a screenplay by Eric Bress (“The Butterfly Effect,” “Final Destination 2”). The film stars Bobby Campo (TV’s “Greek”), Shantel VanSanten (“You and I”), Nick Zano (“Beverly Hills Chihuahua”), Haley Webb (upcoming “In NorthWood”) and Mykelti Williamson (TV’s “CSI: NY”). The film is produced by Craig Perry and Warren Zide, with Richard Brener, Walter Hamada and Sheila Hanahan Taylor serving as executive producers. Art Schaefer co-produces.

The behind-the-scenes creative team includes director of photography Glen MacPherson (“Rambo”), production designer Jaymes Hinkle (“Snakes on a Plane”), editor Mark Stevens (“The Number 23”), costume designer Claire Breaux (“The Substance of Things Hoped For”) and composer Brian Tyler (“Fast & Furious”).

New Line Cinema Presents, A Practical Pictures/Parallel Zide Production, A David R. Ellis Film, “The Final Destination.” Opening nationwide August 28, 2009, the film will be distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures domestically and in select territories internationally.

“The Final Destination” has been rated R by the MPAA for strong violent/gruesome accidents, language and a scene of sexuality.

The first is still my favorite, I love them all but can't wait to see the new one in 3-D, and I've always had a fear of being strangled and held under water while dogs bite my arms and legs

My favorite FD movie was definately the second! I want to see number 4 because I LOVE these movies, and my whole family races professionally, and I would love to see their responses to it! I'll be seeing it in 2D and 3D, and the insane way I would die would be standing on a ladder, changing a lightbulb, I duck quickly to miss the spinning fan above, and am so happy I'm okay I don't notice the broken ladder leg that snaps. I grab at the fan for support, which loosens it slightly from it's mount. I fall to the floor and as I land, the fan begins see-sawing back and forth, and one of the blades falls out and flies through my neck.

A: What your favorite FINAL DESTINATION movie is B: Why you want to see THE FINAL DESTINATION C: Will you see it in 2-D or 3D and D: If you were to die in an insane way, how would it happen? A. Final Destination 3 is my favourite! I Love the fact that everybody dies! B:I want to see what new death the creators come up with! C: I will see it in both versions as I work in a cinema. But I can't wait for the 3D version! Woo! D: I always thought of being trapped in a giant microwave and not being able to get out and Exploding all over the place like in Gremlins!

My favorite Final Destination movie would have to be Final Destination 3. It had a great opening with the roller coaster and the best ending so far out of the 3 films, have yet to see the 4th one yet obviously. I want to see the new movie simply because I love the series, love the action and the deaths, love the fact they made it in 3-D. I would see it regardless of it was in 3-D or not, but it's an added bonus. I will most definitely be seeing it in 3-D. If I had to die in a insane way, I would say somehow getting stuck in a coffin, unable to get out, while it goes through a fire machine, such as cremation. No way of getting out and you are being tortured in the process until you finally die. That would suck!

Picking a favorite Final Destination movie would be like asking me to pick my favorite child. It just ain't happening. But if I had to pick in some sick sadistic Sophie's Choice situation, I'd have to say the third one because I had the most fun in the theatre watching it. I want to see The Final Destination because I love the whole series, and I know this one will continue the antie raising of the death scenes. I might have to see it in 2-D because I'm not sure if the theatre I'm seeing it in is a 3D theatre. I've always thought about an awesome way to die Final Destination style. The best one I've come up with is having my insides sucked out of my butt-hole while using a bathroom in a crashing airplane.

A: What your favorite FINAL DESTINATION movie is Answer - The first. Loved all the others because I love the concept, but nothing beats the shock of that first show. B: Why you want to see THE FINAL DESTINATION Answer - The premise is AWESOME! C: Will you see it in 2-D or 3D and Answer - 3D of course! D: If you were to die in an insane way, how would it happen? Being eaten alive by anything.

A: First one is my favourite, because it is the one who kicked off the whole Death Design idea; in 2000 it was one of the only fresh idea around! B: I want to see the movie because of great death scenes on bizarre accidents, really good-looking premonitions and lots of blood! C: 3D of course, but I'll have to wait until September 10th here in Argentina! D: I'd like to die in a stylish, but bizarre and gruesome way, like terry Chaney in 1, or with a lot of silly details that lead to your Death like A&A or Erin's deaths in 3. One cool idea would be like this: I'm walking down the road, when a truck comes behind me; this truck is carrying some heavy blades (don't know fot what) and one of the blades slides horizontally to the road, and then with the speed of the truck it cuts me in halves! Sick!

I love all of the FD movies, but my favorite is the second one. The deaths are just beautiful and creative. I wanna see THE FINAL DESTINATION because I'm sure its great, there's no way it can disspoint me, it will be AWESOME just like the others (or even better). And I really dont care if I'm gonna see it in 3D or 2D, the important for me is the movie itself (not like My Bloody Valentine, which the 3D saves the movie), I'll love to see it anyway. Actually, one more motive for me to see TFD, is the answer for question D: I'd love to die on a escalator or a car wash, when I was a kid I was thinked about it!!! When I saw it on trailer, I just knew this movie was gonna f*cking rock.

A)My favorite is FINAL DESTINATION 2. B)The reason why I want to see THE FINAL DESTINATION is that DAVID ELLIS is directing (as he did part 2), and that guy does no wrong. Check SNAKES ON A PLANE (he really deserves more props), plus he was basically the guy who did all of that MATRIX highway action in that second MATRIX flick. C) I will be seeing this film in 2-d. D)Hopefully I will die by an explosion of maggots, like King Herod in the New Testament. Seriously, that sunday school story always wrecked me.

The second one was my favorite. The big window pane falling on that kid was just awesome. The 3D is is the main reasonI want to see this one...and its the maker of part 2. Of course I'm gonna see it in 3D. I would die by trying to steal something from someone who lives in a apt building and jumping out of the 3rd story window for my daring escape and impaling myself on the fence that my dumba$$ didn't know was down there...

A) What my favourite FD movie is: I love the 3rd one because i loved all the deaths in that movie and it introduced me to some of my favourite actors and actresses. Also it was my first one to see in theaters cuz i'm only 16 haha B) Why i want to see TFD: I love the "Final Destination" series and this one looks absolutely amazing, gonna be a good way to finish the series. But i do wish for a 5th :( C) will i see it in 2D or 3D: 3D, DUHHH!! i hate 3D movies in 2D in the theaters. And i wanna get the full effect of it :) gunna be intense D) If i were to die in an insane way, how would it happen?: Probably being crushed by a falling light on a stage because i love to perform on stage so that would probably be my final destination :) THE FINAL DESTINATION "REST IN PIECES" 11 DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!

7:44pm, August 17, 2009

Sure. Why not. :) A: I think Final Destination 2 is my overall favorite. Then Final Destination 3, then Final Destination. B: I think the 3D aspect of The Final Destination will be awesome. Plus, Nick, the premonitionist, and the other characters look like great fun to watch on the screen. I'm also excited for the escalator scene. C: If I have the option of seeing it in 3D, I will most definitely take advantage of it. But 2D should be just fine. D: That's a tough one. I would have to say it would need to be big, dramatic, drawn out, and seen by alot of people. Haha. I thought up this death. I'm standing next to a big building that's having construction done on it. On the top of the building, close to the edge, is a pile of those long poles that are used in cement for support. In some weird twists of events, the poles slide off the roof and fall to the ground, sticking into it. I would look up at the falling poles and one of them would fall into my mouth, go down my thoart, into my body, come out my lower back, and pin itself into the ground. Then my body would just sit there, propped up. Sick, I know.

My favorite is the first, def, and i wanna see the Final Destination cause it looks great! Im sure ill be seeing it in 2d (this town refuses to play movies in 3d..bullshit!)and if i gotta die in a strange way i think i would be strangled, skinned alive and propped up in my cubical for all my co-workers to see (and smell)

7:50pm, August 17, 2009

A: The first is my favorite for sure. B: I just find watching a horror movie about death going after teens instead of a common slasher. Plus how many movies open up with over 10 kills? C: totally going to see in 3-D and highly "enchanced" just to complete the experiance. D: A Crazy way that I would die would be in the middle of a sipping a slurped from 711 on a rainny day while walking back home, slip on the wet pavement and coke on the straw. Then as I'm grabbing my neck trying to remove the straw, in panic I walk into the busy street get hit by a car that lost control on the wet road. I get knocked over the car and then I as I lay on the floor with the straw still stuck inside my neck an oncoming car runs me over, this then causes the car to hit the first car that hit me and the passenger, which wasn't wearing his seat belt flys out his window due to the impacted and slams face first on the cars trunk.

7:51pm, August 17, 2009

I love them all, but I'd have to say that the second one is my favorite. I want to see the fourth because it's being done by the same person who did the second, and because I've loved all the other movies to date. I'm hoping to see it in 3D, but if a theater near me isn't showing it I'll settle for 2D. As for my dying in an insane way, I'm sure it'll have something to do with a driving accident. Something like getting slammed between two 18-wheelers, or losing control and sliding over a hill or cliff into a building.

A) My favorite FD was the first movie (Final Destination). B) I am interested in seeing the latest movie just to see if the deaths hold up to the previous movies. C) I will probably see the movie in 3-D to give it a more original feel. D) My death would probably include me tripping on one of my kids toys (a common occurrence), cracking my skull on the entertainment center, which would then jolt the wall and TV mounted to the wall. After cleaning and patching my wound I would then go back to the living room. Bending over to clean the blood, flesh, and hair off the entertainment center the TV would come crashing down on my head, mashing my head into my surround sound receiver and causing an electrical explosion frying my face to a blistered pulp!

7:56pm, August 17, 2009

A) My favorite Final Destination was the second one, LOVED the pile up sequence. B) I want to see The Final Destination because its directed by David R. Ellis, same director as the second one; and because the movie has TWO huge set pieces: The race car crash and the movie theater/mall. C) 3-D all the way D) I would die by crashing into a guard rail, having my car barrel role multiple times, then crash into a gasoline tanker which will then explode

A: Final Destination 2 was DEFFINATELY my favorite film so far in the franchise. The premonition in the beginning is INSANE, I have never seen such a perfect accident/car crash on film like that. B: The reason why I want to see THE FINAL DESTINATION is because I've been a huge fan of the franchise since the very first movie and I do not get tired of them! I consider the Final Destination movies some of the best horror movies to come out in the recent years. The creators always come up with some sick, disgusting, and INCREDIBLE ways to kill off their characters with style that only the FD movies can achieve. C: HELL YEAH I AM SEEING THE FINAL DESTINATION IN 3D!!!! D: If I was to die in an insane way.. I would probably be strangled by belts. I have a quite amount of belts hanging behind the door in my room and my friends are always saying that SOMEONE will get hurt by those belts. I can't imagine a more agonizing death then slowly being strangled by those belts. Yikes. Anyway, I'm excited for The Final Destination and I hope I win this amazing prize pack!

A. My favourite Final Destination? FD3. I LOVE it because it strings together elements of all of the films and mixes them together so well and delivers an adreneline pumped thrill ride with beatiful irony along the way! It's also may favourite because it was the most rememberable to me, being my first FD experience in the cinema. My first "sneaking in" experience if you will. I was 13 at the time, and had failed to sneak in the week before and was harshly neglected as a girl much older then me wore her arm across my shouler to make me look like I was mature enough to date...I was met with the brutal words, "ID Please?". I ended up having to see FUCKING chicken little with my friend. I wasn't happy. But I did see it the week after, (thank you Big Mommas House 2), so it was all good. B. Why do I want to see The Final Destination? I've been waiting three years and I haven't been waiting for nothing. I am the BIGGEST final destination out there and believe me when I say I'm clinging hard to my money for multiple viewings of THE horror/supernaturual thriller of the year. I. CANNOT. WAIT. I'm also making sure TFD isn't beaten by Hoboween 2, so I'm all armed and ready! C. 3D ALL THE WAY. And when I run out of money after my repeat viewings, 2D. D. My insane method of death? Hot and steamy iron to the face. Held there as my face slowly melts off as I scream in agony.(I feel really weird saying that).

A: Final Destination 2 is my favorite because the car crash scene was crazy and awesome. B: The first three movies were all really good so I figured the 4th one will be, too. C: Hopefully, 3d. D: Having one of the inflatable tubes that you use for the pool pop and getting tangled in it and not being able to get out so you drown.

A: My favorite final destination is the third one! I loved it! B:I've got to see this since all the others have been killer as well. C:I hope so, but I doubt my local theater will have it in 3D. D: I've always had a fear of a pool/hot tub cover closing over me while I'm in it. That'd be so awful!

A: What your favorite FINAL DESTINATION movie is= FD1, introduced a cool idea for horror and had a pretty enjoyable cast too. B: Why you want to see THE FINAL DESTINATION= part of it revolves around the insane first scene, but I also want to see how created Death gets in this. C: Will you see it in 2-D or 3D= Assuming the local theater is showing it, I will be checking it out in 3D. D: If you were to die in an insane way, how would it happen?= Comes down to either a satellite randomly falling on my from space or waking up just seconds before I die as a result of a swarm of bees/hornets/wasps/yellow jackets stinging and suffocating me.

8:24pm, August 17, 2009

My favorite would obviously have to be the first. Not only was it a refreshing entry into the horror genre, but it was filled with "What the fuck" moments. B: I want to see the new Final Destination movie, because i'm a fan of the series and I think the new one looks pretty interesting with some new and inventive deaths. Plus, it's in 3D and it'd be pretty sick to have body parts fly at you. C: I will for sure see this film in 3D. D: If I were to HAVE to die in a bizarre accident, I would want to be mutilated by a train. Fast and quick, but the aftermath would be pretty gruesome.
