I have been waiting on this film since 2007 and cannot WAIT to see it but WTF with having the best extras on the Blu-ray edition??? That just isn't cool on the part of Warner Home Video - people like me now have to go purchase a Blu-ray player for ONE movie (I am not about to start replacing my rather extensive DVD collection with Blu-ray). What the hell is Warner's THINKING???

TheBellefromHell, you should probably start thinking about purchasing a Bluray player. Soon enough, movies will only be coming out in Bluray, and it's just better! Plus, you don't have to replace your "extensive" DVD collection with Bluray, you can just start purchasing Bluray from now on. I have 400+ DVDs and 30+ Bluray and I keep purchasing both formats. You can STILL play your DVDs in a bluray player. ANYWAAAY, I'm excited for this!

Just saw this last night in Chicago at the Portage Theater. It was awesome!!! Totally worth the price. Michael Dougherty was there to talk about it as well. Totally worth the price!!

100% preordering the DVD; I guess I'll just have to download a blu-ray version for the special features that are so kindly being left off of the DVD. I could see a company doing this on a larger movie (H2; Transformers 2), but doing it on a movie like this really is a slap in the face to everyone who has been following the film so adamantly from its conception. Excited for the news, thoroughly disappointed with the organization of the special features.
