File this one under so cheesy it's good. MySpace launched the first ever trailer for Sony Screen Gems' Legion, which looks like a cross between Matrix, End of Days and the comic book Preacher, maybe with a hint of Blade. It's loaded with bad CG, demons and of course
Dennis Quaid - I can't wait to see it (and I'm not being sarcastic). The film begins when God loses faith in Mankind and sends his legion of angels to bring on the Apocalypse. Humanity's only hope lies in a group of strangers trapped in a desert diner and the Archangel Michael (Paul Bettany). The pic arrives in theaters on January 22, 2010, a regular slot for Screen Gems who releases a new Underworld every other January. Check out the age-restricted trailer below, what do you think?
I dunno. somehow I'm not impressed. it just feels bad. maybe it's because of the while storyline doesn't sound original, or the humour that's seems forced somehow. I dunno. I will give this a chance though.
Do you think they used the same trailer music as Terminator Salvation because they knew they were ripping off that series? Just replace robots with angels and there you have it.
Honestly this looks like harmless fun too me. Yes it looks really stupid, but I have no dobts that it won't be the least bit entertaining. Also that bit with the old lady was pretty hilarious in a very cheesey way. I wan't to see this.
This movie is goin to own. Since when in the fuck did dennis quaid become a cool movie actor... the dudes poppin up all over now in horror movies. He wasn't awesome in the horseman that movie sucked but still.
and the old lady was off the hook, your fuckin baby is going to burn...LOL>>>>
I had such high hopes for this when I heard about it....this could really have been badass if they did it the right way. But we get bad CGI and cheap special effects. What the fuck ever happened to Dennis Quaid....what's next...SYFY channel shark movies?
grandma gets possessed and scuries up the wall, exploding boils on an upside down cross, and the four horsemen of the apocalypse, and oh yeah dennis quiad! f@#kin a! i'm in
Hey I just figured out another movie Legion reminds me of. Have any of you seen Demon Night with Billy Zane? I'm suprised no one has brought up that comparison yet.
The Prophecy remade for people who didn't think Underworld was moronic crap. Shame, good cast and the concept sounded interesting, but this trailer is pure balls.
This will make for a good rental but I don't think $15 good.
