Update: The trailer for The Twilight Saga: New Moon has leaked... in French. Watch it below. We're back again with another round of news bites, simply because there's just too much news to handle on a daily basis. Today we've got a bunch of interesting morsels of info including details on a Death Race prequel, new images from Beastly, Scream Queens season 2, rules for surviving Zombieland, Rocky Horror's Horror Nights takeover and much, much more. This article will be updated throughout the day if any new pieces of info should hit the web.

FRENCH NEW MOON TRAILER, SOON TO BE REMOVED

You know YouTube is going to continue to pull the following video, so click here to see if anyone else has uploaded a new version. The one below has subtitles. New Moon hits theaters this November.

In NEW MOON, Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) is devastated by the abrupt departure of her vampire love Edward (Robert Pattinson) but her spirit is rekindled by her growing friendship with the irresistible Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner). Suddenly she finds herself drawn into the world of the werewolves, ancestral enemies of the vampires, and she finds her loyalties tested.

SCREAM QUEENS 2.0

Casting is now underway for "Scream Queens" season 2, reports writer/director James Gunn's official website

VH1, in association with Lionsgate (the studio behind such horror blockbusters as SAW and HOSTEL) is NOW CASTING beautiful, confident, tenacious, uninhibited actresses who are ready for stardom and will stop at nothing to get it.

Ten lucky women will be chosen to compete in the second season of VH1’s SCREAM QUEENS. One will win a breakout role in a theatrically-released Lionsgate horror film. Click here for more details and to see if you can make the NY and LA casting calls.

THE RULES OF ZOMBIELAND

How can you survive your trip to Zombieland when it arrives in theaters on October 9? The boys over at UGO have posted a bunch of rules to surviving the zombie outbreak.

In the film Columbus (Jesse Eisenberg) has made a habit of running from what scares him. Tallahassee (Woody Harrelson) doesn’t have fears. If he did, he’d kick their ever-living ass. In a world overrun by zombies, these two are perfectly evolved survivors. But now, they’re about to stare down the most terrifying prospect of all: each other.

Rule #6: CAST IRON SKILLET

-Rule #12: BOUNTY

-Rule #15: BOWLING BALL

-Rule #29: THE BUDDY SYSTEM

-Rule #33: SWISS ARMY KNIFE

THE BLAIR WITCH RETURNS?

Update: this news apparently comes from the BBC.

In a very vague report at Spanish website Aullidos they writes, "Daniel Myrick, one of the co-directors of Project Blair Witch, talked about Blair Witch Project 3. Has confirmed that the film is a sequel to the first and start where it ends right after this.

In the words of Daniel Myrick "I think there will be some element of video on it, but not be shot with a camera in first person.
"

There is no source for the interview, so it's unclear who actually talked to Myrick. Keep this one filed under super-rumor.

MORE BORING BEASTLY PICS

I don't know what I was expecting from a movie by CBS Films, yet here's another batch of uber-boring pics from Beastly, arriving in theaters July 30, 2010. Maybe I'm a fool for expecting much from a "Beauty and the Beast" tale? Still, the images are really rich and look really good, I just something interesting was going on. Instead, I get the feeling they're aiming for the Twilight audience.

Set in Manhattan, the movie tells the story of a handsome rich kid with a mean streak. When he ditches a date, a curse is placed upon him, turning him into everything he hates. The grotesque transformation leaves him with the seemingly impossible task of finding true love to break the ugly spell.

DEXTER LOVES HIS BBQ

From Showtime fan comes a new piece of promo art for their Showtime's forthcoming fourth season of "Dexter", which premieres Sunday, September 27th.

FRANKENSTEIN'S EARLY YEARS...

Nothing says horror like Death Race (yes, that's sarcasm). Tony Giglio (Timber Falls) has been hired to write the prequel to Death Race, based on a story by Paul W.S. Anderson, to be produced by Impact Pictures (Anderson and Jeremy Bolt's production outfit), reports STYD. The script is said to delve into the past of the driver known as Frankenstein. The site also reports that Giglio may also direct.

DO THE TIME WARP AT UNI'S HORROR NIGHTS

Mad scientist Dr. Frank-N-Furter, Rocky Horror and other famous Rocky Horror Picture Show characters will be part of the Halloween Horror Nights line-up at Universal Studios HollywoodSM this year as “Rocky Horror Picture Show: A Tribute,” is featured as part of the Halloween Horror Nights event which begins a 16-night run on October 2.

Universal Studios Hollywood will present the “Rocky Horror Picture Show: A Tribute” at this year’s Halloween Horror Nights event per an agreement between the theme park and Twentieth Century Fox’s Licensing & Merchandising Division.

The tribute will bring the musical mayhem of the classic horror spoof to life on-screen and on-stage with live performers singing and dancing in the celebrated, outrageous “Rocky Horror” costumes. The tribute will be interactive, featuring audience participation and guest involvement.

The “Rocky Horror Picture Show” cult phenomenon was created over three decades ago by A Lou Adler - Michael White Production of the Richard O'Brien musical and its momentum as a world-renowned cult phenomenon has never slowed.

Larry Kurzweil, President and Chief Operating Officer, Universal Studios Hollywood said: “Bringing film experiences to life is the essence of what we do at Universal Studios Hollywood and this classically edgy movie and its passionate following are a perfect fit for this year’s ground-breaking Halloween Horror Nights event.”

“The Rocky Horror Picture Show is more than a film, it's become a cultural touchstone in American entertainment and this new attraction is yet another testament to its strength,” said Howard Nelson, Vice President Worldwide Promotion for Fox Licensing. “This tribute extends our relationship with Universal Studios Hollywood, which continues to do a great job translating our properties for live audiences.”

The entire Halloween Horror Nights event at Universal Studios Hollywood has been re-designed for 2009. “Halloween Horror Nights” will feature four all-new mazes, a new “Terror Tram” backlot studio experience as well as terrifying new “Scare Zones.” New attractions will include a “live” maze experience based on the “Saw” film franchise, per an agreement among Universal Studios Theme Parks, Lionsgate and Twisted Pictures.

If they're doing another 'Death Race', they ought to take it back to it's roots with the cross-country race and points for pedestrians, etc. Hard R rating.
