Playing at this year's Fantastic Fest in Austin, TX is Rob Grant's Yesterday, which reminds us of other micro-budget horror films with a huge scope like The Other Side and Automaton Transfusion. Below you'll find the impressive trailer for the zombie flick that features loads of practical gore and plenty of zombies. In the film 6 complete strangers are forced to band together and flee the city when a zombie outbreak occurs. But after making camp in the middle of the wilderness, the group realise its each other they should fear.
Fantastic Fest writes, "Shot in 16mm on a micro-budget of $25,000, YESTERDAY transcends its resources, filling every scene with great practical effects, car crashes, ballistics and, most importantly, cracklingly sharp dramatic and comedic performances by every single principal cast member."
Wow, awesome trailer. I loved Automaton Transfusion, and if this has the same style/feel, I'll likely love this too. I don't suppose we know of any release dates outside of the festival circuit, do we?
"Automaton Transfusion" was total crap. Nothing original about it. Even the over the top gore couldn't save that turd. What kind of cell phone did they shoot "Automaton" on? "Yesterday" looks alot more promising. I would check it out.
Yesterday looks like something Automaton would never be, GOOD! I actually want to see yesterday everything about the trailer caught my attention and it seems it would be a good film.
Well, it can't be worse than that piece of shaizze Automaton...
