This has got to be quite possibly the most busy horror news week in ages. There are floods of new images, breaking news, interviews from Comic Con and more, meanwhile there are some small morsels of information, while not top story worthy, do deserve a little mention here on Bloody-Disgusting. Beyond the break you'll find our THIRD news bits this week that features a look at Salma Hayek as a bearded lady, news on Terminator 5, an appearance of Shaun of the Dead at "Halloween Horror Nights" and more. We'll update this through the day if anything new breaks.

HOT BEARDED LADY, OXYMORON

Below you'll find your first look at Salma Hayek as a bearded lady in Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant, courtesy of EW.

Hayek costars as Madame Truska, the hirsute woman in a traveling freak show and girlfriend of the titular vampire (John C. Reilly). The fantasy, based on the popular young-adult books, follows a boy (Chris Massoglia) who becomes an apprentice to Reilly’s vamp. Hayek’s character sprouts whiskers every time she gets passionate with her boyfriend. “So she needs to be very comfortable with herself, which Salma really is in real life,” says director Paul Weitz (About a Boy). “I thought, of all people to have that problem, she’d be an interesting one.

TAKE A TRIP DOWN THE HOLE

Today a slew of behind-the-scenes videos were posted from the set of Joe Dante's (Gremlins, The Howling) latest horror fantasy The Hole, which centers on two brothers who discover a mysterious hole in the basement that leads to their worst nightmares.

Watch all of the behind-the-scenes videos at Movieset:

SHAUN OF THE HALLOWEEN HORROR NIGHTS

“Halloween Horror Nights’” Creative Director John Murdy updated his Twitter with a little tease you folks in California are going to enjoy. Apparently, they've been designing some special walk-around character for the Halloween event taking place at Universal Studios Hollywood. "In case you were wondering...SHAUN is using a "child leash" to restrain ZOMBIE ED from eating our guests," he writes showing the following image, which if you click will lead you to a gallery loaded with new concept art.

McG TAKES THE HEAT, BRINGS ON T5

"I'm concurrently prepping Terminator 5, another Terminator picture. So, we're cooking that up," the director/producer tells IESB.net. "For me, it's terribly exciting to get back out there and show a different face of that idea, and perhaps get out of the apocalyptic world and into a contemporary world. I think the audience is going to be very excited about our way in." He continues taking about taking criticism, "You take your lumps, if they don't like it, and you enjoy it a lot more when they do. We've all been on every side of that, and what can you do, but figure out what you did right and what you did wrong, look at it a little more closely, study the people that you look up to, and continue to evolve as a storyteller."

That's good news on T5's part. I thought Salvation was good if not GREAT. I also think it looked like the scenes taken out were probably scenes that needed to stay. I just hope we get to see more of the apocalyptic future that we'd see glimpses of in the past films, and not more of the desert look with a few HK's and T-600's skulking about.

I hope it's a bit more bloody next time round as well. Market this to the fans, not teens.

Have to give McG credit for taking the T4 critism in stride. Most filmmakers would take all of that personally but it sounds like he is not. Bravo.

You've got to be kidding me. T4 was horrible--absolutely, positively the worst movie I've seen this year. Who the heck is financing this? The same people being the stimulus package? It didn't even gross anywhere near it's budget domestically.

So is the Hole gonna be a "R" rated horror flick? or a kids horror like Gremlins??

Yes! Bring on T5! IMO Terminator Salvation was better than Transformers!

I still haven't made up mind about 'T4'; need to see it again. But I know at least it's certainly better than 'T3', but obviously it's still not in the same league as the great first two. But I'm still up for 'T5'!

shit. i didn't even bother to see t4. i sadly had to sit through charlies angels and i didn't want to have my heart broken by what that director would do to my beloved terminator franchise. and t3 was great. it was the best comedy of that year. lol those star glasses. fucking killing me. loved that cheesey shit.

Great, now whenever I see Salma Hayek I'll remember her looking like Capt. Jack Sparrow! Fuck!...

The Bark, T4 was the worst movie you've seen this year?? Are you kidding me, did you NOT see Transformers? That movie was beyond bad. One of the worst films ever made, hands down.

Alright enough is enough, T5?! WTF?!?! Terminator 2 was and is one of my favorite movies of all time, I haven't seen T4 ,but i don't think it was good enough to excscsue the monstrosity that was T3, so please just let it go.

deadfactory... nope, had to draw the line somewhere. I saw this one clip for Transformers and knew, just knew there weren't going to be any redeeming qualities. It's like, hello? This is a preview clip, something you want to entice potential viewers to come and see your movie. It's suppose to be a peak at what to come and expect. What did they show? T4 was god awful. I really don't care about the franchise anymore. McG should have stuck to directing music videos for the MTV.

T4 was no doubt way better than T3, any way you cut it. T3 was a repeat of T2 which was a repeat of T1. Only difference is that since T2 was done better than T1, no one cared about the obvious fact that it was the same thing. That being said, T4 had a lot of problems, the main 2 being the awful story with huge plot holes and the direction which lacked any suspense that made the previous ones worthwhile. The fact that T4 bombed at the boxoffice worldwide proves it and bringing back McG or whatever is the worst decision ever made in film history, next to having him do T4 to begin with. Let's just hope that the producers wake up and correct their second mistake and that the plot will fill in the holes T4 left.

Wow, Salma looks hot even with a beard, strange. I like T4, it wasn't as gory but way better than T3 and that angry porn star of a terminator. I'll see a 5 entry without a problem!

I really enjoyed T4. Looking forward to T5.
