After Dark Films is moving quickly this year as they've already picked up two films to release this January in their fourth annual "After Dark Horrorfest". Directed by Anthony DiBlasi, Dread is a psychological thriller centering on three college students who study other people’s fears. As the study progresses, one of the students begins to seek salvation from his obsession by exploiting the terrors of his fellow participants. You'll be able to check this out in limited theaters from January 29-February 5, 2010. Dig on two new stills below.
I love the short story, so I'm hoping this will be the diamond in the rough for After Dark Horror films... Well, Frontier(s) wasn't bad, but still, nothing to write home about...
Borderland was kick ass and so was Frontiers. I enjoyed Penny Dreadful and The Deaths of Ian Stone too. Dark Ride was atrocious and a couple others sucked but, overall I thought the films were ok.
So far Autopsy and Frontiers are the only watchable films from After Dark and both were great. The rest are total garbage. There's usually 1 diamond in the rough every year. Judging by this pic, this could quite well be it.
I like how they sais the first AfterDark horrorfest films were too violent for audiences, and None of them were really ,mind blowingly intense whatsoever. The first pic looks sick and pretty cool, But that second photo Oh god... Lock up the kids thats one graphic stare
I've actually like a few from AfterDark Horrorfest, so I'm hoping this one is good. I've been pretty interested since I first heard about it though.
