Bloody-Disgusting got word this afternoon that Warner Home Video has finally given Michael Dougherty's highly anticipated Trick 'r Treat (review, set visit) a tentative Blu-ray and DVD release date for October 6th. The studio is already looking forward as we're being told that Orphan will arrive on October 27th, while The Final Destination will hit retailers just in time for the holidays on December 22. This fall is going to be amazing!! Trick ' R Treat, Grace, Dead Girl, Hills Run Red, Orphan, Stepfather 1 & 2, Happy Birthday To Me (Restored), Shaun of The Dead Blu-ray, Wrong Turn 3, The Children 2008 I'm pumped for this falls lineup!
Orphan is a must-buy. Fantastic movie. Obviously, too early to tell with The Final Destination but if it's anything like the previous three in terms of quality, I'll be buying it. Trick R' Treat is a long time coming. Will definitely rent it.

I'll be preordering Trick r' Treat the second it's made official. The Final Destination is getting a DVD release two and a half months after its theatrical? That doesn't exactly encourage me to drop $22 to see it in the theater when I can just wait 'til December to own the DVD for what I'd pay for myself and my girlfriend to see it in theaters =P
I'm super excited for Trick 'r Treat! But why do they have to release the newest releases so early? I don't like it when they do that. So now there is no point in going to See TFD in theatres because it'll be out to own with the simple snap of your fingers. Ugh.
omfg it's official I LOVE YOU BLOODY DISGUSTING!!! I have been waiting to see Trick r Treat for god knows how long, ever since I saw the trailer on a dvd a long time ago. Then for some reason it was shelved, but I am fucking stoked that this will finally be on dvd!!
Cool October is going to be awesome. Orphan, Drag Me To Hell, Ghost House Underground 2, Wrong turn 3, The Hills Run Red, Trick 'r Treat, and Happy Birthday to Me. I know I'll buy Orphan but seriously so many movies to watch so little time.
i seriously hope these dates stick!!! "Orphan" is seriously like my fav movie and Isabelle Fuhrman is one hell of an actress, seen Orphan 3 times in like the span of 5 or 6 days and i def want the DVD!!!! and hopefully jam it full of special features!
man i cant wait for october you know best buy will have alot of older horror dvds on sale as well. i shall be a broke bastard in oct. trick r treat on blu-ray....alllllllright
