Below you'll find the trailer for the DVD release of The Chaos Experiment (formerly The Steam Experiment), which arrives on DVD August 4th from Genius Products. Val Kilmer plays a former university professor who overheats his hostages to prove that humans will devolve into chaos under the pressures of global warming. He tells a detective (Assante) that their location will be revealed if his hypothesis is printed as the local paper's front-page headline. The six potential victims are a former pro football player (Roberts), a former actress (Brown), a nurse (Muldoon), a waitress (Eve Mauro), a restaurateur (Quinn Duffy) and a writer (Cordelia Reynolds). As temperatures rise, the desperate detainees fight for survival.
This has been out at Blockbuster for over a month. It's terrible. Picture Al Gore as Jigsaw and you've got the Chaos Experiment. A madman locking "sexy strangers" inside a steam room until a paper publishes his journal about global warming. Snooze.
It looks decent. But the original name sucked. The Steam Experiment sounds like a porno IMO. But The Chaos Theory sounds better. Anyway it looks decent and interesting.
LMAO a little late for this aren't you... this has been in blockbuster for like 3 weeks or so already.. I always pass it... read the box and am like ummmm noooo... Val is doin some real low buget horse shit HUH>

Yeah, I rented this from Blockbuster...not good at all. Quickly gets boring and Kilmer doesn't really do anything. The Thaw looks like the better Kilmer-centric release.
