Shock confirmed their own rumor last night that Lionsgate will be shooting Saw VII in 3-D. Why don’t I care? This is an unusual feeling, considering I’m pretty excited for Saw VI, which arrives in theaters October 23. The seventh film is to be directed by David Hackl, who delivered the lackluster fifth film in the franchise. Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton will pen the screenplay once again with the plan to get the film in theaters by October of 2010. No word on what the film will be. For those of you Saw super fans out there, go check out Melton and Dunstan’s The Collector in theaters now, you won’t be disappointed.
