This afternoon MySpace hosted a brand new image from Rob Zombie's Halloween II, which features Laurie Strode (Scout Taylor-Compton) covered in blood. Dimension Films has decided to take the film up against Warner Bros. Pictures' The Final Destination on August 28th. Two R-rated horror films, both a major franchise, who will win? Death or Michael Myers?

Rob is doing a new album next and then filming Ty Rex, I doubt he'll make H3.

the hospital scene wasnt a dream i read it online Picking up right where the first film left off, Laurie is taken to the hospital after supposedly killing the man who was responsible for the deaths of several people in the town of Haddonfield, Illinois. However, her stay at Haddonfield General becomes very brief when a very much alive Michael appears once more, brutally murdering everyone in the hospital to find his sister. Michael disappears, and Laurie survives the infamous Halloween massacre, but is still haunted by it years later. Laurie struggles to come to terms with her dark past, or at least forget it. But the supposedly dead Michael Myers has other plans, and as the anniversary of his massacre approaches, he returns to Haddonfield once more, with a family reunion planned that Laurie will never forget.

Michael Myers to Speak in Halloween II? Will the silent killer known as Michael Myers finally speak during his adult years? Possibly. Here's an early morning Twitter update on the status of Halloween II which is currently in post-production. "Off to meet Tyler for some Michael Myers ADR. Sleeping some day would be great." ADR means "additional dialogue recording." So does Zombie have Tyler Mane coming in punch up actual "dialogue" or will the actor merely be grunting and breathing heavy? Zombie has flirted with the idea of adult Myers talking before. In an early draft of 2007's Halloween, Myer's uttered the word "Boo" when he met Laurie Strode. Halloween II opens August 28th.

I feel like this could be the last Halloween movie... unless Zombie does another one. Think about it, how the hell could someone continue through his retarded versions. I miss the old Halloweens where everyone wasn't a messed up hick who swore every second word.

Michael Myers talking? I hope not. That'll ruin too much of his mystery. He's scarier when we have no idea what is going on in his head.

This shit has been getting a lot of bad reviews from the screening. I read a lot about it and I wanted to belch on how awful it sounds. I dont ever want this series to die but I do not want RZ directed any of these films. I hope with part 3 they ignore everything that has happened in this reboot.

I saw This Movie yesterday at a pre-screening. I hated the first one but loved this one. But to be honest I had to lie to myself alot to enjoy it(and drugs helped). If you Rename the movie "Hobo On A Rampage", Remove the mask, change the plot a little bit, Its a Great movie. But As a Halloween Remake sequel? Meh, It Would have been great as a stand alone movie. Its as if the best movie you ever saw had sex with the worst movie you ever saw, it would be Halloween II. The Gore and Violence was beautifully done and amazing. The plot Itself was reminiscent of Halloween 4 (hint hint). I cant say much more than that. I would however recomend it to a friend. I would just tell him to do what I did.

Also Myers doesnt talk its alot of Grunting while he stabs people.

Rob Zombie's first Halloween was also hated by critics, so the fact that it's getting bad reviews doesn't surprise me. If you liked the first one, you'll like the second. If you like any Rob Zombie movies, you'll likely like this one too. If you hated it/them/him, don't see it. Easy enough. That said, I think this is going to be pretty cool.

I feel as though if this wasn't a Halloween movie and a stand alone movie about another killer I might like it... but as a Halloween movie I just don't know if I can get over the mother issue and the half missing mask
