While you wait for Chain Letter to be acquired for distribution, Deon Taylor has already completed his next feature, Dead Tone (previously title 7EVENTY 5IVE), which stars Rutger Hauer, Jud Tylor, Antwon Tanner and Brian Hooks. Screen Media Films has struck a distribution partnership with Deon Taylor Enterprises/Vista Taylor for the thriller that will hit select cities in the US starting September 3. Based on real events, Dead Tone is about college students whose prank phone calls target the wrong person, a madman who turns on them. Screen Media acquired all other rights - DVD, VOD, ancillary.
Jesus. This guy is a fucking hack. Worst piece of shit yet. No wonder Chain Letter is without distribution. If Twisted pictures dumps it, you know it must be shit.
It annoys me how many times "Deon Taylor" is typed in this article. Mostly it bothers me that his production company is named after himself like we're supposed to recognize him and say "Oh, he did . . . wait. Who is he?"
We all know Brian Hooks dies. I did like him in 3 strikes though. A movie where he didnt die or go back 2 jail. Sorry 4 the spoilers. I need 2 go to "SPOILER REHAB", or just "STAY OFF THE COMPUTER".
I'm ecstatic this film is finally coming out. Deon Taylor is a dynamic director and great to work with...and yest I'm in this film
