The fact that David Slade agreed to direct this is the biggest disappointment. How can he have been part of a great vampire movie and turn around and direct something that degrades the vampire genre so much. And I was picturing him making actual horror movies, each better than the last. Unless he strays from the books to force all those stupid teenagers and lame, metrosexual "vampires" to encounter real vampires, get sucked dry, torn into little pieces, and fed to, rabid rottweilers I'll be utterly pissed off.

So if the whiners hate Twilight so much, yet still barge into EVERY news post about the series to leave their stains...does that mean you guys see the movies as well? A few "closet cases" out there maybe? Personally, if I HATE something that much, I sure as hell wouldn't be reading related news posts and taking the time to actually post (cry...whine) about it. New Moon may be more fantasy than horror and yes Twilight was more romance than horror, but Eclipse I am sure will be more horror, David Slade is directing and he did 30 days of night, I agree I don't understand why Twilight and New Moon would be considered horror, I think Eclipse and Breaking Dawn are more along the lines of Horror

Harry Potter 3 had a werewolf in it, I don't see that movie in the Horror section. Twilight is a supernatural thriller that is made for overweight teen girls and homos.

I'll admit here before God and everybody that I read the first 2 books. I even OWN the first 2 books, they were a gift. But when the tweens got ahold of it, I washed my hands of it completely. But I agree, let the man do his job. If you don't like the franchise, don't click the link.

Much better casting this time around and btw I'm a horror fan have been ever since i was a kid. I love all kinds of horror films audition, session 9, texas chainsaw massacre, evil dead, scream, freddy films, jason films, etc. I like em all and i hate a lot of them but twilight is not a horror film its a dark romance so if u don't friggin like it people stop reading these posts and commenting on them go right on to the next and stop being pretentious douches and damning a film you haven't even seen yet.
