We've been hearing this rumor (among other very disheartening ones) that Universal Pictures was getting set to bump their release of The Wolfman once again. Today the news came in that Uni will now be releasing the film on February 12, 2010. In addition, the studio will be filling that November 6, 2009 slot with the Milla Jovovich starrer The Fourth Kind. Lastly, Repossession Mambo has been renamed to Repo Men and has been bumped all the way to a winter 2010 date (yikes). Click any title above for more info on each film.
So I'm assuming that REPO MEN is a non-musical rip-off of REPO:THE GENETIC OPERA. Not that I liked REPO or anything (because I loathed it) but really? We're seriously going to rip off a Paris Hilton/Alexa Vega movie?
Wow, damn near a full year delay from its Original March 09 release date! So depressing, I figured with Benecio on board this was going to be a sure-fire hit. Looks like we'll end up with another Van Helsing, oh well...
The sad thing is we got the trailer two years ago at comi-con, but it still takes another two years for it to actually come out. I mean WTF was the point spending money to promote it their and your not going to release it for another two years. :(
Ugh the Wolfman news is depressing. I remember being bummed when it was bumped earlier this year and now it's bumped again to 2010. I'd like to know what the hell is going on with the picture at least to know why it's taking so long?
The more they bump thi fcking movie the less it's going to make. As of now the hype is already dead for this film because of the last bump. Now a third time and interest will be completely lost. Universal needs to stop dicking around and release the film. God they are pulling a fox kind of move.
Srsly : Victorian Era, Benicio Del Toro, Werewolves !! How could it go wrong ?? Release a damn trailer at least friggin' douchebag Universal Pictures !!!
Poor "Wolfman", indeed!
Yep...Feburary is the "Dump" month for "Trash".
I wonder what's so lame about it?
They should just release it this Halloween and get it over with.
Would Del Toro and Hopkins both agree to do a horror movie with a bad script?
Universal fucked-up by releasing a THREE HOUR "KING KONG" FLICK during Christmas Shopping season with a sentimental, boring poster.
And now this.
They need to lay off the baking soda!
something tells me The Wolfman original director had the best vision of the movie before they canned him for a far more commercial director... Universal is garbage
i dont get it wolfman is in the can why not have it come out on halloween????????
