Don't have cable to am collecting the box sets as they come out (Season 3 out next month). Dexter is a great idea and is generally well played out. Showtime has the freedom to make it gorier then they do, to more fully immerse the viewer in the sticky, stinking work of killing and butchering large mammals (anyone who hunts deer will understand this). At any rate it's one of the few shows I collect and adding Lithgow, w/ his freewheeling weirdness and funny/spooky persona, was an inspired casting decision.

Looks like another kick ass season. Remember when LOST or OZ was at its best? Dexters there right now...

I was afraid of the whole baby subplot, but it looks to be adding some great tension and (very dark) humor. And I just LOVE John Lithgow. His character looks AMAZING and the fact that he's in all 12 episodes makes my heart skip a beat. Can't wait.
