Mark your calendars for September 29th as Dave Parker's The Hills Run Red arrives on DVD from Warner Premiere. Starring a fully naked Sophie Monk (sweet!), Tad Hilgenbrinck, William Sadler, Alex Wyndham, Janet Montgomery, Mike Straub, Ewan Bailey and Danko Jordanov, the story centers on a film fanatic whose obsession with finding a complete print of an infamous slasher movie leads him and two friends into the backwoods where the film was shot. They realize too late that filming never ended -- and now they must survive a nightmarish onslaught or become part of the movie forever. Check out the trailer debut below. What do you guys think?
Are you effing kidding me ? This movie looks AMAZING and Babyface looks like a total badass. Gives Friday The 13th a cold slap in the face. Finally we get a real slasher film.
it looks just OK. i respect that many are saying it looks "amazing" but i just don't see what looks so amazing about this. and i agree that it has that FRIDAY 2009 reboot feel about it.
When people use the word "amazing" about that film based on that trailer, I'm curious to know what their definition of amazing is. I'm not saying it won't be fun or maybe even be a good movie, but when you throw the word "amazing" around with simply anything, it sort of loses its meaning.
I know AMAZING is a strong word, but I really haven't gotten excited by a horror film in a while and this being a really low budget DTV flick really took me by suprise. I guess I will say it looks AMAZING for a DTV slasher atleast. also iss that Sophie Monk stripping in the trailer ? That looked really HOT.
If people can call the upcoming Halloween II and every single remake "amazing", then I'm pretty sure a movie that isn't a sequel or remake deserves to be called amazing. Can't wait for this!
Well they didn't release any "horror" in 2006 or 2008. So I guess The Hills Run Red and Whiteout are making up for those two years. Anyway Dark Castle's line up this year looks promising. I'll definitely watch this and Orphan. But will wait for Whiteout to come on DVD.
Trailer wasn't as great as I thought, but the movie is definitely going to be kick-ass. Tad Hilgenbrinck makes me wet!
