Sounds excellent. So far two interesting looking movies in the bag. This is what After Dark should be like every year. none of this Butterfly Effect sequel BS.

Sin Daddy's right. Considering how After Dark was making it seem like their Horrorfests are for the most scariest of movies that push the envelope, all Horrorfests up to now have had a majority of REALLY bad horror movies. Those movies weren't scary at all. Most of them(with the exception of the foreign ones), seemed like r-rated Sci-Fi(er, SYFY now) Channel original movies(they were THAT bad). This one, however, looks like it might just get it right. You can't loose with Clive Barker!

You CAN lose with Clive Barker. Sometimes he is barely involved in the translation of hs books to film, and a whole production crew just starts making their own movie, based on his story, and tear it to shit (The Plague for instance). How closely is Barker working with this? Considering Butterfly Effect 2, we could get anything, and more likely than not, its going to be "eh", judging from past releases during Horrorfest... I read this story and it happened to be one of my personal favorites. But adapting it to film? Its a story about the terror of nothingness - voids - the story delivered a feeling of desperity and chilling absence that will be hard to put on a screen. I doubt this one will work.... Hoping to be proven wrong.

I wish the horrorfest people would screen their films according to fright-level. That way, I could watch FRONTIER(S), without having to risk seeing shitpiles like BUTT-EFFECT 3!...

Dread is really really good (assuming they didn't fuck with it as I saw a test screaning in January)

This is interesting. Now Horrorfest is starting to intrigue me. I actually think it has a better chance with Dread than The Graves nevertheless its good to get information. Last year didn't they tell us about the last 3 films not even a month before Horrorfest? If this keeps up we might have a full line up by December.
