Rob Zombie updated his MySpace blog with a new image and a little farewell to his editing room. "Well, the editing room is packed up and stored away until next time. Now it on to color timing and sound mixing. Before you know it Michael will be back in your face. I've never been so excited to release a film. This one blows the last one away... big time!" Brilliant. He keeps giving us completely worthless updates on the film and tops it with big FUCK YOU to anyone watching which i guess sort of sums up the film itself. Nice one Zombie. Well done...
Zombie, People are going to see halloween because it's halloween. You don't need these updates. Whats next, off to do some ADR because one of the actors mic's fell off while they were running from Michael. Stop it.. I wonder if Color timing and sound mixing can make up for a bad story. And by saying "this one blows the last one away..big time" all your gonna do is make us watch it, expecting it to be great. And if it's good but not great it's a let down.
My favorite conundrum: if the too-cool-for-school brigade must continue to whine about Zombie's work, and his mission to supply news to people who might give a damn, why do they feel compelled to read, and whine about, every one of his updates? It does seem odd.
pike, im pretty sure those of us who thought the first remake was horrendous are at the very least checking these updates for even a tiny bit of redemption here. I've been pretty quiet so far, but yeah i feel the need to say this looks awful.
HYBIRD1991 Uh, they've stated their opinions on every single goddamn Halloween 2 coverage. All they do is make jokes about the film that they think are humorous. Making non-humorous jokes about a movie that isn't even out isn't really stating your opinion.
