We just received a little teaser image from Legend Films that teases a forthcoming 3-D release of Saw, James Wan and Leigh Whannell's breakthrough horror film that has since spawned six sequel (with a seventh already being written). No details were given and it's unclear if it's going to hit theaters or go direct-to-disc, but this is definitely something to look forward to. With a dead body laying between them, two men (Whannell and Elwes) wake up in the secure lair of a serial killer who's been nicknamed "Jigsaw" by the police because of his unusual calling card.
Hot damn, way to milk this cash cow. And exactly what elements of the original film would make for a good 3D transfer? Because I can't remember one scene that jumped off the screen in this movie.
the original is always the best and bloody you have a picture of a girl cross dressing as a guy and the character was pretty bad in the original movie....so you have no room to speak
I would LOVE it if they would bring this back to the big screen, 3D or not. I didn't get to see it in a theater and it's turned out to be one of my fav horror movies, so I would love to be given a second chance!
I'd like to see this in theaters. Not so much because of the 3-D element, that's just kinda a cool gimmick, but because I never got to see the original in theaters.
I don't see how anything can jump out at you. Like some people said above though, I'd love to see Saw in theaters since I didn't get to see it the first time around.
LOL...just how much longer can they milk this cow??? There must be some new effects of blood flying out at the camera or something, otherwise I just don't see how the 3D could be used.
