Just after I stop receiving his updates on Twitter, writer-director Richard Kelly (Donnie Darko) used it to share with the world the official one sheet for The Box, his new genre-bending thriller that stars Cameron Diaz, Frank Langella and James Marsden. The poster is the same as the previous teaser, only it now features a few new "floating heads" - and really, is Diaz's name still that powerful that the poster needs to be all about her? Eh. Warner Bros. will release the adaptation of Richard Matheson's short story "Button, Button" in theaters on October 30.
A simple wooden box promises to deliver its owner $1 million with the press of a button. However, pressing this button will simultaneously cause the death of another human being somewhere in the world.
Just watched the trailer, TBH it didn't look as bad as i thought it would but it looks just ok. Not a big fan of hers anyway, plus i heard she is a real c*** to her fans.
The poster's alright..but I think it would be much better if it was just the guy holding the box. Cameron Diaz the other guy kind of ruin it for me. But at least the movie looks good.
eh poster is ok, but i agree with jonny doesnt do anything for the movie....ill still go and see this i like cameron diaz and the trailer looked decent. so count me in
well im looking forward to it only because its a Richard Matheson story.
