Eli Roth writes in to B-D about a very exciting opportunity taking place at the HollyShorts Film Festival in Los Angeles this August. "I wanted to let B-D's readers know that the 2009 HollyShorts film festival is honoring me with their Indie Visionary Award, and to celebrate we're having a screening on August 7th at the Sunset 5 of my director's cut print of Cabin Fever. This is the only print in existence, I believe, this is the one that was screened at the 2002 Toronto Film Festival. It's my personal print and it has not been shown since then. You know, the movie would have been better if Winston's part was bigger. Who cares about Eli being honored for his movie. Ti took the sequel to a different more sophisticated direction unlike Eli. I can't wait to see CF 2 and the upcoming trailer, keep us posted Mr. BloodyDisgusting!
As much as I liked cabin fever...4 extra minutes. I do agree though blu-ray would be sweet
