I swear to God this movie better be good as we've been all over it like cat and yarn. Over at good pal's Empire you'll find the exclusive trailer debut for Icon Entertainment's Triangle, which will premiere at the Film4 Frightfest in August before arriving in UK cinemas on October 16th. The movie has our attention because it was directed by Christopher Smith, the man behind two great direct-to-disc films, Creep and Severance, and stars Melissa George, star of Amityville Horror, Turistas and even 30 Days of Night. Click the link for the trailer or the title for our first batch of stills from psychological thriller set inside the Bermuda Triangle.

TRIANGLE, a unique concept psycholigical-thriller that turns the genre on its head. When Jess hits a seagull on a drive to the local harbour, little does she know that it is a harrowing omen of things to come. She sets sail on a yacht with a group of friends and already things are not as they seem " she just cant put her finger on why. Her suspicions are heightened when the yacht hits a storm and the group is forced to board a passing ocean liner to get to safety " a ship Jess is convinced shes been on before. The ship appears deserted, the clock on board has stopped, but they are not alone Someone is intent on hunting them down, one by one. And Jess unknowingly holds the key to end the terror.

The trailer makes this film look similar to Timecrimes with the whole time thing and her meeting herself and all that...I'll still see it; that killer looks awesome!

Perfect storm meets ghost ship.

It reminds me of this epic poem I read for English Lit called the Ryme of the Ancient Mariner. But the captian kills the bird instead of hitting it. But this sounds better.

@Travman691: That's a classic poem. How the HELL could this be better than a classic piece of literature?! Jesus.

Does anyone remember Melissa from Aussie soap Home And Away? That has to be about 12 or 13 years ago. Why hasnt she aged?
