Below you'll find the first two TV Spots for The Final Destination, New Line Cinema and Warner Bros. Pictures' 3-D horror film that will be taking on Rob Zombie's Halloween II on August 28th. Directed by David R. Ellis, the story kicks off when a teenager's premonition of a deadly racecar crash spares his life and those of a few lucky others. But death continues to stalk those who escaped it. Click the title above for stills and more info on the fourth film in the franchise.

I'll just have to see both in the same day. No big deal for someone with nothing better to do than to see which movie is worse and then complain about it.

Looks good, but my only complaint is the title! WTF?

Looks the same as all of the others. Not a bad thing. Just wish they would come up with something original. Hope H2 wipes the floor with this.

"Something original"? Like a horror film filled with white trash characters? Rob Zombie has only done that in his past three films. Fourth times the charm, I suppose. And H2 isn't just any horror film, but it's a sequel to a remake...yeah, real 'original'....

H2 will STILL be more original than this. no matter how many times you are others say "well it's white trash..blah blah blah...". STILL a million times more original than this. i'm not saying H2 is THE most original movie concept EVER. there only so many ways a serial killer story can be told but again, it's STILL going to be more interesting and a NEW look at MICHAEL, LAURIE, ANNIE, LOOMIS, etc so yes, more original than ANYTHING in FD4.

and the producer of FD4 said in the lastest FANGORIA that his movie is "SO ORIGINAL" because in the other installments the vics were in moving vehicles (plane, car/trucks, rollercoaster) and in FD4, the vics are stationary and it's the race car that is coming at THEM. um, wow. that really IS um, um, yeah, original and really "switching things up". but we should ALL be glad that horror fans are getting 2 movies to choose from/look forward too.

erm...I SO tipped you guys off about this. Why the hell didn't I get any credit?

Mr. Pilkington

Since this is in 3-D, I can't believe they didn't use the tagline, This time death is coming for you. Besides, there's no using in complaining about originality when everyone's going to see them both anyways.

Mr. Pilkington

To add on, H2 is also a remake of a sequel of a remake of a (brain explodes). Wait I got it, of a family reunion in Georgia which probably isn't a coincidence.

The180Curse, BD always does that. i've noticed that they do that all the time (which is really annoying). sorry they didn't credit/co-credit you. i've been there. all they do now is credit the actual site the info is on EVEN though it might've been you or i or whoever who tipped them off. lame of them i know.

I have a feeling this is when New Line put those dollars to work on getting this in theatre previews and on TV. Really love New Line. Great company. And who gives a shit if its original or not? All slashers are the same! If you want to see original go with some indie movie like Cube or something. If you want original and go to see a slasher flick you are a complete idiot.

Well in Final Destinations defense, Halloween 2 looks like the last 3 movies zombie has put out. Hillbillies and pointless gore/ scenes.

This is going to suck harder than Paris Hilton on the internet. Halloween will shit all over this pathetic sequel to the over rated teenage franchise. You'll see.

H2 isn't a remake...they've made that clear. Just has the hospital in the beginning.

I find all the Final Destination films fun, and hearing the movie theater viewers gasp and laugh at all the crazy deaths is always a hoot.

we'll just see which grosses more i guess... i'm still going all out for Final Destination, seeing as it has a "revolutionary" plot (death coming after you, people think that's lame? really?!? maybe they're done up on something...) i've seen too many slasher/serial murderer films, and they all inevitably go into the "the guy has become an immortal legend" phase. i mean, you can only kill off the killer in one movie and bring him back again in the next (or at the end of the current one) so many times...

imback357

also take note that in a recent race (nascar or something) someone did crash, but fortunately, everyone survived... also there was this rumor about a "survivor" from the air france crash (missed the plane or something) who died in an accident not soon after... not exactly the kind of publicity one looks for, but it might help peak interest in the upcoming film... maybe death loves the limelight after all... hehehehehehehe...

I was in a theatre when the final destination trailer was played and also when the H2 trailer was played. I'll tell you this. The former got a FAR better reaction.

My bloody valentine in 3-d was probably the best movie going experience I've had. So the 3-d factor is really tough but Im a halloween guy. And plus the glasses are like a extra three bucks, Im broke. Halloween it is.
