This afternoon Bloody-Disgusting was provided with two exclusive stills from Christopher Smith's (Severance, Creep) latest genre pic, Triangle, a psychological thriller set inside the Bermuda Triangle. Starring Melissa George (Turistas, Amityville Horror, 30 Days of Night), Holly Marie Combs, Rachael Carpani, Emma Lung, Liam Hemsworth, Michael Dorman and Henry Nixon, the film will have its world premiere at the Frightfest UK on August 27.
TRIANGLE, a unique concept psycholigical-thriller that turns the genre on its head. When Jess hits a seagull on a drive to the local harbour, little does she know that it is a harrowing omen of things to come. She sets sail on a yacht with a group of friends and already things are not as they seem " she just cant put her finger on why. Her suspicions are heightened when the yacht hits a storm and the group is forced to board a passing ocean liner to get to safety " a ship Jess is convinced shes been on before. The ship appears deserted, the clock on board has stopped, but they are not alone Someone is intent on hunting them down, one by one. And Jess unknowingly holds the key to end the terror.
i love Melissa G. and this DOES look really good. i fear that they showed pretty much the twist/or whatever in the trailer though. but i STILL want to see this!
I think I saw the trailer for this a while ago. On the boat/freighter time just keeps repeating itself over and over again like on Groundhog Day and the people with her just keep arriving again on the boat.
Sounds interesting. Synopsis has a very 70s, surreal, "Let's Scare Jessica to Death"-ish kind of vibe.
