i know i'm late to the game (regarding JACKIE EARLE) i JUST watched WATCHMEN and while didn't really care for most of the movie JACKIE'S parts are fucking AMAZING!! he is a phenomenal choice for FREDDY!! i want to see a pic or 2 of KATIE CASSIDY from this. she rules!

Prefer to see pics of the entire cast like the other films, but something is something. Would also love to see pics of Katie Cassidy and the exterior of Nancy's house.

Glad they have held off on pics of Freddy (especially if they would be this poor quality), unlike Zombie giving away the farm on both Halloween flicks and the bombardment of pics, including Michael. I'm interested to see what they do with this.

Honestly? Of course i want to see Jackie as Freddy but i don't want to spoil it for my self. I'd rather wait until its release and see him. Hopefully if they do show a pic of him its one where u can't see much of him, like a shadow over his face. Spoiling Freddy is like Rob Zombie spoiling Michael Myers with and without the mask. Its just stupid and bad for business.

Finally we get something. Not the best but at least their not showing us all the goods like Halloween 2.

Nancy's room looks just like the one in the original. I thought they were trying to change the movie.

yeah its not that great but least its a start, brad is saying on his twitter that he is goin to show a pic of freddy at comic con, which is not really surprising. i think this is just the start and as the months go on we will get too see more and more. Im annoyed that they havent shown much but then at the same time im happy cause if they show it all just gives the haters a chance to nitpick and ruin it for people who are actually lookin forward to this movie

I have mix feelings about this movie. Is like I wanna see it, but I dont. It is gonna be really hard a NOES without Robert, I do wanna give this new guy a chance because it seems he is gonna be good. But it is just hard, Freddy Krueger is my favorite character and they are changing him. I hope Jackie makes the character his own instead of copying Robert. Everybody says he is a good actor so I dont think he would do that. I wanna see Robert as Freddy again....sniff...sniff

Krug09, i agree w/ you. as much as i'm REALLY wanting to see Jackie's FREDDY, i hope (if they MUST show him at all prior to the movie's release) they just show an eye or a REALLY blurry or dark (but still cool) pic of him. PLEASE don't ruin for us!! and i'll admit i get totally weak and backsliding when it comes to wanting to avoid spoilers! LOL.

I just wanted to see how long it took for someone to make a pretentious comment about "Em" instead of "Elm." It took only 4 posts... anyway, the Nightmare franchise better be good this time around. Hopefully they sewed Freddy's stupid comment-spewing mouth shut and changed his ridiculous apparel for this film.
