It's hilarious how horror fans get pissed of at Hollywood for remakes and BEG for originality, and when an original flick comes out, they still complain because it's still Hollywood. I can guarantee that if this same script were made on a shoe-string budget, people would horde to support it. Not saying anything against indies, I love 'em. I just think folks should appreciate any original horror effort from Hollywood since it's so scarce these days (or atleast wait until you see it to hate it)...
