Very poor trailer my excitement is at zero

Pretty damn uneventful. Looks amateur. They probably took the rejected parts of Saw and put them in this. Nice try, boys.

If they can't even make the trailer look good then there is little chance the movie is gonna be any better. Plus this is just a lazy rip-off of saw and really any home invasion flick.

I agree with Frawgman if the trailer sucks good chance movie is trash... rental at best

im excited for the movie, but that trailer was crap. the lead actor doesnt excite me either-he played the male lead in the now canceled FX show "Dirt".

Uh, just because the trailer sucks doesn't mean the movie will. Two totally separate groups work on the movie and the trailer. I mean, jesus, look at pretty much any trailer for any movie to come out within the last couple months (i.e. Transformers 2). The trailers were pretty good, but the movies fucking blew worse than Paris Hilton on a lonely night (i.e. Transformers 2). I think the film looks good. I will definitely seek this one out.

Trailer is def crap and uninspired, but as we all know from great trailers for crap movies, the trailer can only really show how it looks (color, styles, lighting etc), and even this can be deceiving. The people who piece together the trailer are usually the studios/marketers, and not the moviemakers. I'll reserve judgement til I see the flick, but this trailer pretty much ensured that it will be a rental, not the theatre.

Ummm so yeah just how I expected...very Direct-2-DVDish but I still wanna see it...Oh, and yeah I hate that lead actor...still looks like shit just like in DIRT.

I'm interested but I won't be busting down the doors of the theatre to see it. Like the posters though. Might have to pick up the house one if it turns out any good. I've learned from my mistakes. Bought the Laid to Rest poster before it came out based on the hype surrounding it. After watching it that posters going no where near my game room :)

The mask looks really creepy! I will see this movie for sure...looks like there will be some crazy traps. Plus, there is a hot girl in the cast - Madeline Zima!

more of a tease than a trailer. beside "FROM THE WRITERS OF SAW IV,V AND VI" didn't really pop my tent.

I have to agree with battletorn, this looks like the scraps from any Saw movie. They do hold a guilty pleasure for me, but this just seems like a quick cash grab that took little effort. Also, I think they raided Slipknot's trashbins for the mask.

Rather terrible trailer but I'll still see the movie opening weekend. I expect the eventual TV spots to be more professional; they'd better be if they expect the movie to make any money. Based on the trailer alone, it doesn't look to do much better at the box office than Captivity.

it's interesting that it's from the writers of SAW 4-6 which were the ALL TIME WORST SAWS not to mention awful films ever (especially 5). i DO think that the bear trap scene looks kinda cool and i like the fact that the thief is now the protag. but i'll still pass.

Probably one of the better trailers I have seen this year for the genre. I think this one has a lot of potential and I will definitely be taking the wife (if she'll go!)
