Beyond the break you can check out the red band trailer for Jennifer's Body, which kinda reminds me of Idle Hands in tone. It's also pretty fun to see a soundtrack built around a horror film, which doesn't happen all too often these days. Starring the ever-so-sexy Megan Fox, and scripted by Diablo Cody, the film tells the story of a cheerleader who is possessed by a demon and starts feeding off the boys in a Minnesota farming town. Her "plain Jane" best friend must kill her, then escape from a correctional facility to go after the Satan-worshiping rock band responsible for the transformation.
I don't know what to think about this one. Part of the trailer I loved, other bits I felt: Are they serious? I mean, it feels more dramatic comedy than horror almost. I'll give it a try though, just because it looks mildly entertaining and I love Megan Fox and Amanda Seyfried.
I have to agree with REChris... the trailer was confused as to whether it was a comedy-thriller or a horror-comedy or a horror with some comedic moments or what... Not all options seem particularly appealing for this flick, mostly because fox has somewhere between very few and absolutely no acting skills that extend beyond looking good.
Finally a good looking horror movie, been waiting for this one for quite some time now! " Juno " was a masterpiece so i expect nothing less from this movie. Diablo Cody is a talented writer. :)
its a different tone than what i was expecting, but that is certainly not a bad thing given what it actually is.

this looks AWESOME!!! i'll be there first show on opening day!! i agree with nricexbox, in that the tone and execution of the movie isn't what i necessarily thought it would be. i had said i think it could go either REALLY well or be REALLY REALLY cheesy. i think they nailed it, though.
