TV buffs who can't get enough of the J.J. Abrams produces series "The Fringe" have another reason to tune in for the second season as Luke Goss has signed on for a guest starring role for the upcoming season. He most recently co-starred in Hellboy 2: The Golden Army as Prince Nuada, while also starring in genre flicks Blade II and Doomsday. I never could get into Fringe. I watched the first half of the season but didn't care for it which was dissappointing. Did it get better over the season?

Just so you guys know, from checking his IMDB page, I see that he was not in the "Doomsday" that you may be thinking of. He wasn't in Neil Marshall's Doomsday. he was in a TV movie called Doomsday.

The show actually did get a lot better Jhanse, but at best it's still just lingering in the shadow of the X-Files.

Yes, i feel the show got much better. To compare it to the X-files is not really fair because X-files will most likely never be beat. The characters started coming into their own and Anna Torv is a damn fine actress. Is it great? No, at least not yet, but it is better than most fare on television and definitely has its moments.

Fringe really grew into it's own shoes during the last half of the season. What started off as a pseudo X-Files clone became it's own interesting entity! I can't wait to see what season 2 has in store.

I watched every episode, and will continue watching and am glad to get some new guests/faces on the show... while it did come into its own, it got kind of tired by the end of the season to have every single episode end with John Noble's character, Walter Bishop, being like, "Oh yeah, I remember now... the reason this awful thing is happening is actually directly caused by some research I, personally, did 20 years ago but forgot about. This is convenient, because otherwise we would have no clue how to fix the problem. Good thing I invented everything!"
