The grizzly cross-country killing spree of one of America’s most infamous serial killers is chillingly recreated in Bundy, stalking onto DVD July 21 from Barnholtz Entertainment (distributed by Lionsgate Entertainment). Below you'll find full details on the latest direct-to-disc release from Lionsgate.

Bundy, starring Corin Nemec (The Stand, Stargate SG-1, Chicago Massacre: Richard Speck) in the title role and co-starring Kane Hodder (Friday the 13th Parts VII and VIII, B.T.K., Ed Gein, Hatchet), details the dark psyche and previously unexplored motivations of the man who became known as one of the most notorious serial killers to leave behind a legacy of evil.

Born Theodore Robert Cowell, Ted Bundy was a handsome, charming all-American guy who shocked friends, family and the nation when he was convicted of the killings of numerous young women in Washington, Utah, Colorado and four other states between 1974 and 1978.

Having twice escaped from police custody, he was finally apprehended in February 1978 and executed in Florida on January 24, 1989. After more than a decade of vigorous denials, he eventually confessed to over 30 murders, although the actual total of victims remains unknown. Estimates range from 29 to over 100.

Bundy is presented in anamorphic widescreen with an aspect ratio of 16 x 9 and either 5.1 surround audio or 2.0 stereo audio. Special features include director’s commentary, stills gallery, Spanish subtitles and closed captioning.

Bundy, Gacy, Dahmer, et. al. were far more terrifying in real life than any movie can possibly show...

Is it required by law for Kane Hodder to be in every serial killer movie now?

The movie Ted Bundy was ok. I hope this one is better than that one. And I hope it is better than BTK because that movie sucks but I do like Kane Hodder.

News flash people, Hodder's phone isn't exactly ringing off the hook as far as acting gigs go. He's got to work, motherfuckers.
