I'm all for a Teen Wolf remake, but with Zac Effron..... ugh!!! I dont think I'll be watching it if its him, he is no M.J. Fox! Effron is just a try hard. And there will be a lot of stupid teenage girls see this if he is in it, making it more of a chick flick, which in my book is a big NO!

Alright, I usually don't like to rant, but I see this as a special occasion. I mean I'm getting really pissed with Hollywood and all these effing remakes of evey movie that has come out in the 80's. Then to make it worse they shelve the movies that are actually original and have somewhat potential until they feel like wanting to release it to DVD. This BS has to really stop because it's just really ridicoulous now. I am especially pissed at Warner Bros. because they would rather wait years to make a fucking TEEN WOLF movie then release 2 great properties they already have like TrickRTreat and The Hills Run Red into the Theatres. May I also add that these two movies have been getting great buzz from special screenings and have been called some of the best horror films in yeears. I mean seriously they would just ignore all the positive feedback from theses to remake a movie people barely fucking remember and didn't even really like. Seriously Warner Bros. WTF is going on ? :(

If Zac Efron is in it, I will definitely not see it. He's horrible. He's the main reason why I never saw the High School Musical films.

First off I'm not trying to say you shouldn't love Teen Wolf because you obviously really do, but my point is how in the hell could Warner actually think this is more worthy of a release then TrickrTreat or THe Hills Run Red. I mean don't get me wrong because I use to love Teen Wolf too, but I was 7 Years old when I first saw that, but I liked tons of crap I saw back then at that age. I was trying to come off bashing the movie, but it just seriously pisses me off that they keep doing this crap and then we have to actually wait for the good movies to hit DVD no telling when. I didn't wan't to bash Teen Wolf in the process, but I seriously don't feel nearly enough compassion for the original to actual defend it either, because the movie just isn't that good imo. Somebody make it stop. I don't usually mind some remakes, but really? Teen Wolf? Hollywood is really digging deep right now. Zak Efron is the exact type of kid I couldn't stand in high school, I guess that's why Hollywood loves him. Ugh.

If they should remake Teen Wolf, why don't they cast somebody besides Zac Efron! I would rather Rob Pattinson be cast or any actor with talent, sheesh! Remember what happened when they cast that gnome Emile Hirsch in 'Speed Racer'? Ha!!! It never made it to number 1!!! Do your homework producers when you cast actors that's going to make you rich!!

i don't think this should be remade either. it doesn't take precedent over any other original movie. and I understand now that you weren't trying to bash teen wolf. but cmon man, hollywood doesn't have balls anymore. that's what it is. yeah it sucks that we don't get the original movies when we should...but we literally can't do anything about it. what are we gonna do? sign a petition? it just doesn't work with that kind of stuff.

Cynthia82, Speed Racer might not have done particularly well, but for a movie, I thought it was WAY better and more true to the "Speed Racer" name than Bay's Transformers, and Transformers was a blockbuster. Though, personally, I don't think it should be remade at all. It was one of those "80s moves" that was, in it's very being, simply something you can't do OUT of the 80s. It would be like remaking Fast Times at Ridgemont High, which was made IN the early 80s, made ABOUT the early 80s and made FOR the early 80s. You can't make a movie MORE perfect than that because it captured that time period on all three fronts. Teen Wolf was a lot like that. The major thing fueling Teen Wolf was the fun 80s vibe. Taking that away is like stripping the wolf of it's fur.
