Looks Promising with Heard and Panabaker! Carpenters about due for a Hit!

Danielle is becoming even MORE cool than i already thought she was. first there's FRIDAY, next up for her is THE CRAZIES (w/ Rhada Mitchell!) and now this! how awesome is she? VERY! in FRIDAY she wasn't given (like almost ALL the cast) a chance to shine with her acting. she's actually a REALLY good actress.

Not sure why everyone is so excited about Danielle. Her acting leaves a bit to be desired.

I agree, she needs to show a little more emotion. I am definitely not a fan.

Danielle reminds me of a young Diane Lane, especially in that picture(she looks like Diane's portrayal of Ellen Aim from Streets of Fire). I can definitely see Danielle lasting as long as Diane! She's great!

What happened to that John Carpenter thing with Nick Cage? "Riot" or something?

Jesus, this is actually happening? I won't believe it until I'm sat in a cinema watching it, how many films is this Carpenter has supposedly been set to direct in the last decade now. I'm not sure what's going on with Riot either, but I'm assuming it's gone the way of LA Gothic, The Prince, 13th Apostle and the rest. If my prayers are answered and this does somehow manage to go ahead, pending any natural disasters or the like, then good casting.

Nic Cage said in a recent interview that Riot wasn't going to happen because Carpenter became more interested in this project. Personally, I would rather have seen Riot, but I'll be happy just to get another feature from him. It's about damned time.

Danielle Panabaker is gna be the next Sarah Michelle Gellar of horror!!! hell yeah!!

Not really, Panabaker actually has a career whereas Gellar is a washed up hack.

it's good to here that this carpenter movie is actually in motion to become a real film. unlike most recent Carpenters projects.

I love John Carpenter but Im worried he doesnt have another good movie in him. Ghosts Of Mars was AWFUL and his Masters Of Horror entry was, at best, ok. I hope he proves me wrong.

I love Danielle Panabaker! She was my favorite character in Friday the 13th (but then again, she was really one of the few characters who wasn't annoying as hell) and I look forward to all her future work. Especially since Amber Heard is in it too...double the eye candy!

Hmm. Sounds decent, but I'm not a huge fan of Panabaker. I finally watched Friday and she was nice/cute, but I just didn't have a spark for her, yet.

I like her she's cute. She sometimes reminds me of a mix of Winona Ryder and Amber Tamblyn.
