What a bummer. Focus Features released the official domestic one sheet for Park Chan-wook's Thirst, which is the exact same thing as the Korean poster, inly they chose to go with the amended one, as opposed to the banned version (featuring a little more skin and a lot more cross). Arriving in theaters July 31, yhe story finds Korea's leading man, Song Kang-ho (The Host), as a much-loved priest who becomes a vampire after a failed medical experiment; he becomes a tortured and depraved soul. Chan-wook's "Sympathy" trilogy is much loved among horror fans (even though it's not horror).
You guys who put up news about teenage bullshit like Twilight and it sequel, whatever the fuck it is, have no right to talk about anyone "wussing out."
Should be a fantastic film. I don't judge the film because of the crappy poster. There are alot of great films with crappy posters. What's up with the strange elongated arm?
I think the edited poster is actually more visually appealing than the banned one. Plus, the ambiguity is appealing.
